Stable DC

Atmosphere was great, brunch food was amazing, and service was even better. Courtney and co.were so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a brunch spot in DC.

My first time inside this restaurant was incredible. I went alone one cloudy afternoon. It was great for a pre- it post-visit to the Atlas Theatre. The bartender was extremely helpful in helping me understand the entire eating experience. Can't wait to do it again!

My family really enjoyed the cheese fondue. We had leftovers which is rare when we have fondue. Highly recommend.

I am Swiss and this is real Swiss food served by a Swiss owner! Great experience, highly recommended!

Brunch at Stable is unbeatable. For big appetite, duck confit, for something light, cured salmon toasts with salad, with a few good egg dished in between. Loved the fancy Bratwurst dish on the last visit.

Hard not to also add some pastries "for the table. " but keep your eyes open near the entry. Stable often has off menu pastries like a great Danish.

Service is more attentive than typical in DC.

If you try to eat outside during hot summer, I question your judgment. Lodge in the back is great for groups.

Fondue is awesome and fun. Drink a Swiss white with it.

The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly! The best part was the cheese appetizers from Switzerland. It was explained that they came from cows in the alps! Soooo good. I’d like to try the fondu the next time I come!

Another five-star dining experience at this DC gem. They've expanded their outdoor capacity and the city may let them keep it. Whether you sit outside, in the dining room, or in one of their cozy 'chalets, ' you're going to love this place!

Great atmosphere with indoor Chalet type seating offering plenty of privacy, especially during the Pandemic. The food and service was excellent! Pricing is reasonable and we will definitely be going back.

We worked with Stable to put together a group outing and it was fantastic. Joseph behind the back bar took awesome care of us from beginning to end. Food was awesome (wings, pate, cheese plate, spatzil, chicken dumplings all fantastic) and the drinks were even better (ask for the Manhattan). Thanks Stable! We will be back!

Excellent service. I love that you had your own little curtained "room". Covid updates actually made this very cool, so you have a lot of privacy. We had the Raclette brunch. It is quite an experience and also a ton of food. There were 4 of us and we had left over everything! There must have been at least a pound of cheese and a basketball size bucket of potatoes. This was a new experience for me and fun to try something different. You get to cook your own cheese in your own little pan. I like their spice mix.not sure what's in it, but it was good. The little pickles had a very interesting flavor-? Fennel. Pickled onions & cabbage to add on. Almost forgot the yummy salad with a wide variety of greens and nice vinaigrette that you get to start off.

Service was sincere, welcoming and top notch.
Eggs benedict cooked perfectly.
Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and meal.
Definitely would visit again.

Great Swiss restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We loved the Rösti and Spätzle. The waitress was super nice and the 2 Swiss owners themselves work in the restaurant as well.

Cozy atmosphere, wonderful hospitality, delicious food, and great wine. Stable also has the best wings i’ve ever had in DC which is not something I had anticipated! Both dine in and take out have been excellent.

This was my first fondue experience and I really enjoyed it! The cheese was delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, including the little Swiss history tidbits on the wall in the restroom. The staff was very polite and friendly.

Great brunch and wonderful fondue for dinner. Their donuts are delicious and the chalets are so cozy.
