I asked if Iced White Chocolate Mochas come with whip cream at the register (it does) The guy tells me “Well, yes and no. ” (Huh?) I tell him to add the whipped cream. I get my drink and there’s no whipped cream. When I tell the barista he makes it a point to say I didn’t ask for it when basically everyone in that crowded, smelly Starbucks heard me. He gives me an attitude and hands my drink back with liquid spray if whip cream. I wish I would have thrown it right back at him, but I didn’t want to be a karen. Never again.

To paraphrase the words of Andrew Warhol, everyone is a star but only for a quarter of an hour. This raises a number of thorny issues; first and foremost, what do the other 45 consist of? We might check Instagram (for about 2 of those) and take a bathroom break (5 minute if we’re really pushing it). This leaves us with about 38 minutes remaining. Why not have a cup of coffee? At the very least, it will give us plenty to think about: what our 15 minutes were like if they’ve already passed, what they might be like if they haven’t yet or perhaps just the gradual cooling and eventual heat death of the universe.

I had the latte. It was perfection.

The staff is arrogant and has an unfriendly attitude.
The flavor of the chai tea is tasteless, while the black tea is tremendously bitter.

Extremely dirty/unpleasant Starbucks I have ever been to. I went on 05/27/2022 at 8: 00am, the guy on the bar has no hat or apron on, he was checking his phone constantly while he was making drinks, when I told him I didn’t want him to make my drink he caught very bad altitude towards me and he said whatever, my very first time ever in this location and really never going back there. They need a good manager

Least friendly Starbucks I've ever been to. And, while I was waiting for my breakfast sandwich I witnessed the guy heating it up put on his jacket and just leave to go home while the alarm to take it out was going off. Everyone looked confused and other people had to go get it out. This people need to get their stuff together.

Poor attitude. Arrogant and unresponsive staff. I ordered a Mango Dragonfruit tea. After 10 minutes, they told me they ran out of the syrup. I asked them to switch, but nobody was responding. Quite a few ppl behind me got their orders prepared. When I confronted the staff, they denied their unresponsiveness and my long waiting time. Fortunately an old lady behind me stood out and would like to be my witness. I wish I could give 0 star

I used to love this Starbucks at 3000 Connecticut Avenue NW and was a daily customer, but for the last few months it’s been very frustrating and disappointing going to this store. The drinks are so-so made without style or finesse. It seems to be constantly understaffed (2 employees) when I’m there, and those working are unfriendly, sometimes mildly rude, and have unsanitary habits. E.g, washing hands almost non-existent. One barista went to the back and was eating in sight of the customers and returned to the front without washing his hands. At other times, the man on the cash register moves from handling money to making drinks without hand washing and uses improper procedures like putting his fingers inside the cups of the drinks he makes. He takes breaks outside and returns behind the counter without hand washing. Everything in the store looks dirty and unkept and the trash is often running over. No one wipes off the tables or sanitizes between customers. If the local manager can’t get it into shape, maybe the regional manager should step in. This store is frequented by the community, as well as visitors to The National Zoo and should be better represented. I love having a neighborhood Starbucks, but this one is bordering on losing business.

Often frustrating.i walked in, one person waiting for their coffee and me at the cash register. The barista did not greet me, not a big deal, but after I said hello, his response was unintelligible. I waited to buy my sandwich.and I waited. Then, the 2nd person on duty came out from the back room, clearly saw me, and proceeded to dry items that had apparently been washed.and I waited.and waited.finally, I decided to leave as I was about to be late for an appointment.

I was reminded that, as a non-coffee drinker, the reason I avoid Starbucks is that if you are thinking you can quickly go in and purchase an "off the shelf" item, forget it. Coffee is king, and nothing else really matters. Tonite, however, took it to a new level as what should have been a quick sale, turned into no sale at all.

I made an order from app to pick up. I arrived 5 minutes after the indicated time and even then I waited 15 minutes for my order to be complete.

I don't know how the baristas here stay so calm and friendly, but they do. It's pretty much always a zoo (heh), but they're always nice to customers. As a former (godawful) server, I admire their grace under fire because I'd be stressed as hell.
