State Plaza Hotel, Washington DC

Many issues like
1. Elevator is not working.
2. Manager is not listen guest problems.
3. Charge extra on checked out based on irrelevant explanation and deduct money without information.
4. Not trustable.

This hotel is great, the location is amazing, the staff is nice and helpful.
You can find some parking on the street and is a safe area.
The only thing I didn't like is the pillows, it hurt my neck.

The hotel is incredibly clean and tidy. Almost all the staff are friendly and helpful with the exception of one lady at the reception. She was arrogant a bit. The location is great; 10 minutes walking to Foggy Bottom metro station and 15 minutes to the national mall area.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! STAFF HELPFUL! Building was quaint on the the outside and had a classy feel. Room set up was nice. I had my own little powder table! Kitchen was not short of anything! The bathroom had Bath and Body works toiletries. Spacious. Clean. The surrounding neighborhood has restaurants in close proximity. Parking is available on the street. Weekends are free. Weedays you pay. Hotel has it's own underground parking. A nice experience. MUST RETURN.

Great price for a great room! Beautifully furnished and remodeled. We made a last minute reservation for a trip to the US Passport office and they were very accommodating with allowing us to keep our vehicle parked longer than normal. We were also personally escorted to our parking space and into the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was very close to the monuments and several great restaurants! You don’t have to use a car at all which was fantastic and exactly what we wanted. There are several homeless tents outside but they don’t bother anyone. I was nervous about that at first but then realized it was a safe area when I saw students walking around. The circulation in the room was rough at first and it made sleeping very hot but then the hotel staff were very accommodating and gave us a fan and fixed our thermostat. Overall I would stay here again. Affordable spot and super close to all the things you want to see in DC!

Best gem on Foggy Bottom! We had an amazing stay. The room was spacious, clean and hotel is very well maintained. Very friendly staff and accommodating to all your needs. We will definitely return for all our visits to GWU!

Stayed there for two nights and it was an awesome stay. The room was spotlessly clean and all the staff was very, very friendly and supportive with luggage and so on.

Right on the corner you have a bus station and a lot of restaurants as well as the national mall are in walking distance.

For that the price was very fair

Very decent hotel, nice room, very clean, no problem with people being drunk and or otherwise dumb. Staff was very accommodating and respectful. Would definitely stay here again. Minutes from subway and Lincoln Memorial.

Wonderful room, felt like a mini apartment. We were in the building not connected to the lobby but it was equally as nice. Walking distance to the monuments but we took a car to see easier. We only stayed one night but I would definitely come back and stay here again! Liquor store and cvs next door.

Clean awesome guest services. The room was more than I expected and convenient to National Park within walking distance

This was a great hotel. 2 blocks from mall with 24hr cvs next door. Very clean, and had a full kitchen. Being next to GWU meant scooters every where fir you to ride. Will stay here next time, even had tesla chargers for our car in garage.

Nice hotel, good price. 10 min walk to the monuments and 10 walk to the subway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Have a fitness center and business center that are very helpful and convenient. Room was big and clean and the bed was super comfy. Only downside is that there seemed to be no vending machines in the building. Had to walk to a close by CVS when we needed something. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and the facility was extremely clean and well maintained. It's a very convenient location. The value was very good, I'll definitely stay there again when in DC.

Booked multiple rooms and stayed one night. The rooms were well appointed and clean. There was not much morning noise as in some city locations. Very convenient to The Kennedy Center. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff.

Wonderful hotel! This place was amazing. The rooms were quite large with a real kitchen. The bathroom was situated to where you couldn't hear anything. Plenty of privacy. Staff was superb and you can not beat the location!
