Department Store Target reviews
20This Target has always been meh and keeps getting worse. If you can find an employee, they are friendly. But good luck finding one! If you do, they’re run ragged stocking a huge section that ought to be a team effort. Need to check out? You get to wait for one of two working self checkout kiosks. Want to buy deodorant? Too bad. A third of the merchandise is now locked up. Push a button for assistance, the signs say. I tried 3 times. I waited a few minutes. When I walked around the ONLY staff in that half of the store were the pharmacy team. The only other staff on the floor were restocking or installing a new security camera. There is such a thing as TOO much security when you don’t bother staffing up enough to help customers buy things! I think Target knows they can phone it in because this is a useful location but it’s been underwhelming for years.
Used to love this store but the shoplifting by others has negatively impacted the experience of paying customers.i often look online to check if an item is in stock and the last few times i’ve gone, my items are not there (presumably shoplifted). Also, many other items are locked (including socks and underwear) up so i’m not sure how convenient it is to actually shop here when you have to find someone with a key.i know the workers are trying their best and i’ve never had a bad experience with them but i primarily use this store now to return shipped items because i cannot walk to pick them up when i need them.
Why are your employees allowed to come to work while sick?
An employee was in the store on the register No Mask coughing.
Worst target I've ever been to. Employees rather talk to themselves that do their jobs. Management does not know their jobs.
Selection could be better and it feels like some of the aisles aren't kept up on as well as they should be stocking and organizing wise. The CVS is the back is one of the better ones. As someone who recently moved here is is used to mostly Walmart super centers, and regular sized targets in still getting used to these tiny ones that will one day become big targets when they grow up.
Carts can not be used to get large cases of water to your car so that is very inconvenient
Why don't they hire more employees? The shelves were half empty, items all over the place chaotically, most items missing prices entirely but if there is a price it wasn't correct so you have no idea what anything costs. I thought at some level all Targets were still a baseline level of quality and turns out that is a VERY wrong assumption.
Small footprint, but packs a punch. They sell most things. This is basically an extension of CVS with a Target grocery offshoot.
Parking is free; thirty minutes is allowed per parking session.
I used to shop regularly at this location. No more. The owner now seems determined to go out of business. Half the CVS items are locked up, registers routinely malfunction, and now the shopping carts can’t even be taken into the parking lot.
Thank You Charles for helping me when I was on crutches. You didn't have to but you opened the door for me twice to make sure I was good! And that helped a lot!
Another s/o to Natalie who knew 1 of the self checkout registers was out of paper. Even though there was a sign, I glanced through it and could of been waiting for a minute.
Natalie could of been silent and let me figure it out on my own, but she informed me right away that there was no receipt which saved me time. In conclusion, I appreciate the good genuine kindness I received and we need more ppl like U! Thank you Natalie and Charles!
The slowest most racist target I have ever been to. I waited 45min for the manager Maya to speak to me about my pick up order that an associate couldn’t find on the floor. The manager literally helped a white lady who was behind me first before even helping me. I had to ask her to help me as I was standing there first she couldn’t even give me eye contact and was extremely rude. Needless to say I never got my order.
First time going to this particular target and it was not a good experience. It's a small location not much in stock there. There also was a rude cashier that looked like she did not want to ring anybody up at her register- 8/29/23 in the evening around 4pm.she made weird faces at me before I even got up to the register then tried to greet afterwards. No thanks, just ring my things so I can leave. I have been to better locations.
I’ve been coming here since August and they are rarely ever stocked, even when the website says items are in stock. Target needs to find a better way for the in-store inventory to better communicate with the website inventory and keep the shelves stocked. I don’t think it’s a individual store problem, rather a problem with Corporate. I will rate this Target 4 stars because of the floor associates. They are always nice and go above and beyond to help out. Kudos to them!
Nothing is ever in stock here. Just goto Wheaton Target
Edit: Once again, spend 10-15mins walking here and whats shows “in stock” online is completely empty. Do not come to this location at all, just goto the Wheaton location. Pointless to ask employees anything here as well
Target is a shopper's paradise, offering a vast range of products, exceptional customer service, and a convenient shopping experience. With everything from clothing and accessories to home goods and electronics, Target has it all. The store is well-organized, making it easy to navigate, and the quality of their products, whether from their own brands or popular name brands, is consistently impressive.
The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide excellent customer service, and the store's competitive pricing and commitment to sustainability further add to its appeal. Target has become a favorite destination for all shopping needs, offering convenience, quality, and a delightful experience.
IT'S NICE AND SMALL WITH FEW ITEMS
THE MANAGERAND THE STAFF WERE REALLY HELPFUL.
Not a full flagship location, there's limited groceries, clothing, household goods along with a pharmacy. There are occasions the prices are inaccurate versus what's advertised online and all the staff I've encountered for assistance, demeanor is as if they don't want to work there. Like asking questions is an inconvenience, definitely not customer service oriented.
Terrible pickup experience. Didn't have what I ordered and made me wait 30 minutes to tell me.
This has to be one of the worst Target stores in America. Several times the staff have been unprofessional and rude. I hate going there. They make me feel like I a am putting them out by shopping at the store. If there were a closer store I would go there. Avoid using this store if possible!
Employees were just standing around instead of working or helping customers. There were no shopping carts or baskets to be found. When I went to check out, there was no one at the register. And they sell clothes but don't have fitting rooms? What's the point of that? The positive is that it's not crowded at all.
