Taylor Gourmet is a great sun with good subs. They're bread is top notch and the meats and cheeses are great. For some reason, they don't do mayo or other condiments. Not even mayo packets. The subs are huge, save half for later. The cane sugar fountain drinks are awesome!

The food is delicious. I usually come during off peak hours and I never wait more than 10-15 minutes. That is because you’re waiting for made to order food.

I'd seen a lot of Taylor Gourmet locations around, so I figured I really ought to try it sometime. Boy was I wrong. They clearly only had two people working there at all, either in the kitchen or front of house, so there was a long wait just to order. I ordered a cheesesteak with American cheese (figuring that would be closer to the proper cheese whiz, which wasn't an option). What I got had provolone, which was still cold - not even close to melted. And it was on a generic sub roll that wasn't toasted or anything. Additionally, half the fountain drinks were out of order, and they give you a tacky Pepsi-branded that's smaller than the standard fountain drink option at any other nearby restaurants. You'd figure if a place has "gourmet" in the name, they'd have nice bread, melted cheese, and their own cups. The food, the service, really everything about the place screamed "cheap low effort deli where you pay $6 for a sandwich. " Except the actual prices, which are more than double that. Not going anywhere near this place again.
