3Loved that the cake wasn't overly sweet and had whipped cream icing. Easy to order via the phone and pick up. They added the birthday boy's name at pickup. Loved the chocolate fillin layer in the cake- tasted like chocolate pudding. Very affordable.
The slice cake, cupcakes, chessecake, and brownies are all so very delicious and everybody should visit if you want to taste one of the BEST kept secret sweet dessert spots in Wash. DC. I have one problem with place. Love their apple pies. They are so good, bomb, fire! Use to purchase slices of pie from store. Now, you can't buy slices only whole pies for $30 for one. Whole delivered pie comes to their store in NE WASH DC. Choice of pickup or delivery. Get my cake slices delivered for average delivery fee but for the pie they want to charged me additional $30 delivery fee and taxes. THATS OVER $60 FOR ONE APPLE PIE THATS WAY TO EXPENSIVE. PLEASE LOWER DELIVERY FEES. WASH. DC IS ONLY COUPLE MILES BIG. You going to charged $30 delivery fee form your store to ny house. Less than 15 min
PRICED WAY TO HIGH FOR RETIRED 68YR RADIOLIOIC TECHNOLOGIST WITH SWEET TOOTH. THAT HAVE TRAVEL ISSUES. Seems everybody wants to charge alot and rip off folks.
GOOD DESSERTS THOUGH
I ordered a birthday cake and was disappointed with the flavor of both the cake and icing. I took it to a birthday party and multiple people also complained about the flavor of both the cake and icing tasting artificial. Ultimately, the cake was inedible and was thrown away. I reached out to management and said they do not issue refunds once the cake has left the premises. I do not recommend buying a birthday cake from here.
