The Cheesecake Factory, Washington DC

Okay, they changed the menu. Prices went up, portions got smaller. Some of my favorites are no longer available. We did not get a good server. I could swear he was on something that day. He couldn't remember our order. We just got salads and one appetizer. Did not check on us. Did not bring the bread. I knew the menu better than he did.

I had a great experience here. We were able to make a reservation and got seated right away without having to wait, on a Saturday night. Our Servers name was Colby and he was great! He was attentive to our needs and frequently checked up on us to see how we were doing. The food itself was delicious, as it always is. Love the bread especially. I highly recommend going here.

Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and they put chicken in it.needless to say when I requested a refund they said they would oblige however i never recieved one. Definitely avoiding this location. They not only ruined my girls new years they lied and never gave me my money back.

Very disappointed in the service from this location. Not customary for The Cheesecake Factory company. Vegetables were cold, server clocked out and left before the meal, 2nd server never returned to refill the drinks, dropped of the check before we were finished eating. I emailed the location directly and filled out an online survey, never heard from the location only a small gift card for my "inconvenience". I won't return to this location again.

Consider sitting downstairs at a high top or in the front section downstairs. The chairs are cool and gives a good vibe.

My servers were delightful and well informed about the menu. It's very expensive for what you get, chain restaurant food that's ridiculously caloric.

Ordered the Sheila chicken salad for delivery. Where was the chicken … barely any in the salad. And the size was less than you get in the restaurant. Very disappointed considering the price. It was like a half salad but at full price. I usually love Cheesecake Factory.

Do not eat here (or stay in the Hilton hotel where it’s located-read those reviews before making a reservation). Appetizer was cold (almost still frozen), I thought they were making them not frying something from a frozen bag. Wife got a drink, it was weak. Beer selection was weak so didn’t get one. Asked to sit in one of the many empty booths, they said no, and we watched the booths remain empty. They have more people working than customers and still didn’t offer a drink refill. Took the menu even when wife said she would keep it to order dessert. Food hasn’t arrived yet and we’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes. The bread was okay.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Cheesecake Factory and I’m very impressed with this location. Very accommodating and helpful with my to go order. Both meals were good.

As an elderly person, I had to walk up the steps to the second floor to order and was a little out of breath and was disappointed that the host told me I had to walk further before I could sit down.
Very inconsiderate of a young host

We were seated promptly as there were very few other parties seated. The hostess asked if we’d like a booster seat, (We had a toddler with us.) we said yes please. They seated us. Then the waitress came and took our drink orders while I held my toddler in my lap. She asked if we wanted a booster seat. We said yes. She brought our drinks after a few minutes. Waited on the table next to us a FEW times in that time. Then took our food order. Couple more minutes go by and for the third time we request a booster as my son was starting to get fussy sitting in my lap because he wanted my pretty pink alcoholic beverage that was in front of him. We finally got his seat. Food came and we notified we would be ordering dessert towards the end of our meal but needed to look at the menu. She said no problem and we were left with a menu. The table next to us then proceeded to have her full attention as she was at their side at least 8 times before she came to ask if we needed anything else. By this time all of our plates had been empty for at least ten minutes and our beverages for even longer than this. We ordered our dessert, and requested the check and a to go box for our sons left overs since we were unsure of when we’d be seeing her again. She brought the to go box for our sons food. Several more minutes go by, she waits on the table next to us a few more times then she brings the check and the dessert all wrapped up to go despite us intending on eating our dessert there. I honestly felt like an inconvenience all night and it was the first time I’ve ever contemplated not tipping my server. We did still leave ten percent but that was because I have never in my life not left a tip. She wasn’t at all friendly with us, but was especially friendly with the table next to us and put so much effort into making sure they had everything they could ever want (like what you’d expect from a server), mean while we felt ignored each time she walked passed our table to go to or from their table and waiting for her to offer us another drink or ask if we were ready to order dessert. It just was a terribly uncomfortable experience to feel like you were bothering or inconveniencing someone literally paid to be providing you a service.

Friday night my family and I celebrated my sons 22nd birthday. We had a party of 8, our server was Senait and her trainee they bother were AWESOME. We had such an awesome time we are turning this week. Food was delicious and plentiful.

I can currently here with my Dad and my Aunt and we are sitting at the high top tables right in front of the bar the bartender is the one serving us. We arrived at 2: 00 and just received our drinks at 2: 30 which is non alcoholic drinks two strawberry lemonades and a glass of water why should that ever take 20 mins to
Make. Prior to that it took him 10 mins to even greet the table. Now I know that as a bartender he can be busy and he also making drinks for the entire restaurant. But me being a experienced bartender and working in the restaurant industry for 9 years now, I know when someone is in the wheeze. Also when you are in the wheeze you have a higher since of urgency to serve your guess as soon as possible. He lacked that completely. I have been watching him stand behind his bar smiling moving in slow motion not making a drink or communicating with any bar guest. I even got out of chair and walked to the bar and reminded him “hey we still don’t have any drinks” he continued to laugh and move slow as if that’s okay? Super confused. Then I see what appears to be managers and GMS just standing around the bar too, know one is connected with the guest to even see that we have been sitting here for 30 mins without beverages. I am highly upset and in shock and once again I work in the restaurant industry so I am very patient and empathetic to my fellow bartenders and servers because I know how it is especially when running a bar like the Cheesecake Factory but this has been a horrible experience and the fact I have my dad and Aunt with me, makes me even madder.

Food was good drink was horrible raspberry something. Our waitress was good but when we went to order 1 piece of cheese cake service was terrible, girl was slow she said it was busy. I'm sitting right there not very busy at all we wait 15/20mins. She was talking and just really slow could care less attitude.

Food was good, and all was great until we went to cash out. The bartender came back with another bill, and said she forgot to add my second drink. I was still nursing my 1st one. She went on to say she remembered me putting my glass on the corner of the bar, and saying she could use the same glass
That would never happen.
I also have a a stomach thing going on, so I wasn't even going to have one, but having just driven in from New England, I was ready. She kept insisting I did.
I didn't, and it ruined the night I was enjoying with my daughter, to sit there arguing with her.
Won't be back.

We love The Cheesecake Factory in general. Great food! Always love to save up and eat here. For a price estimate, it cost us about $100 before tips to get dinners for two adults and two kids. No appetizers or alcohol, and we ordered three pieces of cheesecake to go.

I didn't give it five stars because one of the bathrooms was completely out of soap. Also the service was only average. Waitress didn't offer to refill bread while we were waiting for the meal, and although it wasn't busy, she didn't check in with us and we waited a while once we were ready for to-go boxes.

Dessert was packaged beautifully! Dinner was delicious. My grandma enjoyed her special take out dinner for her birthday.
They took a lot of care packaging everything up and it made a huge difference. I called in my order and picked it up myself.
