The Coupe reviews
18My flight got cancel due to the winter storm and I came across this awesome place, everyone was friendly and the food was great
Good food. Had a ham and cheese croissant and tasted my cousins breakfast burrito. Drinks are also good, tried a green smoothie and fall latte. Amazing customer service. Door dash forgot most of my order (only bought the burrito- no drinks or croissant) and the manager personally delivered the remaining items in a timely manner. I am grateful for that and would definitely pay them another visit when I am in the area.
I have been coming to this place since it opened.great staff, food and ambiance. I love it for family or friend brunch or to work on laptop. Good menu.
Great local brunch spot. Layed back atmosphere.not terribly fqncy but good service and good breakfast food.good spot for coffee and a pastry to go as well
Another great restaurant in the spirit of tryst or open city.
Very quick and friendly service. The food is all great.
Breakfast burrito is large and well made.
The food is amazing and the service is top tier good. They have an awesome menu selection and the prices are affordable too.
I've been here a few times, with friends, family, and alone. The food has always been great American classics, plus a few more modern additions, but the brussels sprouts are by far the best dish I've tried here. I order them every single time at this point, and while I've enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich, the BLAT, and the grilled cheese, I'm still looking for my go-to main dish, and enjoying the search! Love the espresso here, as well, which is a huge bonus for a spot with such good food!
Great spot. I think the name is technically a pun, which is a positive. Glad the place has reopened after covid- this is a staple of the neighborhood and always delivers
I’ve been here twice in the last few months. Group of 2 & 5. Both times the service has been atrocious; the server comes once every 20-30 minutes.
I love the Coupe and I’ll keep coming back here but the food has been pretty consistently disappointing recently. Just things like tofu scramble was unseasoned and a salad that was missing multiple ingredients.
My wifes busicuit was hard as a rock. Meal was supposed to come with an egg, did not. No effort to make it right or comp any of bill. This place has really gone downhill.
Had an absolutely wonderful lunch here. Delicious grilled cheese and very fresh and bright tomato soup. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their brunch as well, because they have all-day brunch and all-day lunch! So many delicious choices all day. The service from Felicia was excellent, as were the espresso drinks. Especially nice that there is so much outdoor seating.
Came to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, per my friends suggestion since he had been here before.
Parking was horrid lol. Street parking is rare. You should be able to find parking if you drive around a few blocks and walk.
4 starts because the main entrance was open the entire time, and it was a cool, blustery day so I was cold inside. Social distant tables.
A lot to choose from on the menu. I got the breakfast platter or whatever it's called:) I opted for bacon, pancakes with a hashbrown cake and hard eggs.
Food was filling.
Bruh. Explain to me why I hate arugula but I ate damn near an entire plate of the stuff with a tostada and loved it. Make it make sense.
The wait and prices are simply not worth it. This establishment acts like they are royalty and you are peasants lol. It’s coffee, guys. Shouldn’t take an hour to receive a coffee.
I had a great experience dining here. There were many gluten-free options on the menu. The staff was quite friendly too!
They’re having all their friends and family leave good reviews lately because of the influx of bad ones from everyone who has visited lately. This place will make you wait, and wait, and wait for a simple coffee. This place does NOT think it needs to address any management nor staffing issues. This place is a joke and there are far better options in DC.
