The Grill From Ipanema reviews
29The Grill from Ipanema is an outstanding Brazilian restaurant! I was greeted warmly by the staff, the restaurant looks romantic and beautiful with great food options. I had a great time chatting with the bartender Costa who brought the food with smile beyond price. I recommend this place.
Had the dinner special, salad, pork chops and guava and cheese. Everything was excellent. The restaurant and staff could not have been more knowledgeable and professional. Can't wait to come back!
A delightful Brazilian Style Steakhouse. Indoor dining. Masks are required except for when you are eating or drinking. 17 different types of meats carved to your liking, tableside. Be prepared to eat. You can stop the meat service at any time just by flipping over the card that they provide you with, if not servers will continue to bring cuts to your table which you can accept or refuse. Every thing was delicious. They accept cash and cards. Wheelchair accessible with a Kiosk parking lot across the street. An awesome place to celebrate or just make memories. Enjoy!
Super friendly staff and great environment.
Food tasted delicious and fresh.
Just a bit tough to find a parking spot, but it’s DC - which is expected!
They are trying to cheat in the tip department.
The bill already came with a 18% tip included.
Mor or less food. Very pricey.
Excellent service and food! I recommend this place 100% also you will enjoy the environment with the beautiful back ground relaxing music. I think the service was more than good. Viva Brasil! ️
Very friendly staff We tried steak but was not as good as expected will try it again with other menu options as many people told me about this place as authentic Brazilian place
The food is fantastic, Espically the mandioca with carne de sol and the mousse de maracuja. The staff is very friendly. The ambeince is very nice with the lights and the candles.
We love eating out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a delightful time there with delicious food and a professional crew and an impressive chef. We put this restaurant in our list and we shall surely visit again very soon. We highly recommend.
The place offers a large variety of fresh food. I love dining here. The employees are always super nice, pricing is affordable and the spot is always neat.
We came to this spot for lunch.we heard about this restaurant from quite a few people. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
The Best Place in The DC Metro area for Authentic Brazilian Cuisine! They have Friendly Staff that are courteous and very well mannered. Their "Tapas" or appetizers and Dishes taste Amazing. My Family and i have been coming here for years and they always keep us coming Back!
Very good food and service. You won’t regret it. Paella is special here. Staff are very nice and ambiance is comfortable!
If you want to try some brazillian comfort food but in a nice set up, you should visit Ipanema. The seafood bowls were much better than beef. The bill was about $100 for two.
Great appetizers and drinks.friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely visit again when in the Kalorama area.
The food is excellent with many traditional Brazillian dishes to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and service was superb. The owner even came out to say hello and ask if everything was ok. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant very nice and clean. Definately a new favorite place for us to eat!
Ridiculously tasty Brazilian food. Portions are good and drinks (with or without alcohol) are great. Slightly pricey, but you get a good value. They've combined several older buildings, so there's some slight steps between parts of the dining rooms - ok on foot, with cane, or for stroller. Might be a problem for some wheelchair users.
Authentic Brazilian food. Generous portions. Great service. I had the fish moqueca and was delicious. A little bit on the expensive side. Plan to spend from $40 to $60 per person if you decide to have drinks and dessert.
I want to love this restaurant as it's the closest one to where I live, but always choose something else. Yet again we were disappointed. One of us had steak - tough. Another had a chicken which she kept trying to share with us and didn't finish. My husband and I shared the lamb and some kabobs. The kabobs were underdone. The lamb was ok but not what you expect for the price. I'm sorry - really want to love this place
Steak was a bit over cooked. Asked for medium got medium well on half and medium on the other half.the yuca was cooked perfectly but other than that.it was alright. The drink I got was coconut but that was all you could taste, no alcohol. I have already forgotten what else came on the plate.it was not memorable I guess.
