The Ministry reviews
14I love the Ministry. They’re always friendly, reasonably paced, and they literally never miss. Avocado toast, sweet cake, Matcha, and Mochas are my go-to’s but I’ve heard wonderful things about lots of the other options
Very good iced latte and delicious ice tea with little sugar. WLAN on request with password. Very nice service!
Visiting the area and looking for a local coffee shop we found this place. We went in and love the atmosphere. We were greeted by very friendly staff. We ordered lattes, blueberry muffin and the cream cheese and jam toast. Best latte I have ever had. The food was fresh and delicious. The following day we had to return after trying coffee somewhere else. This time I ordered the ice latte and it didn’t disappoint. We met the owner. She is very nice and friendly and took the time to know us. This place has a charm to it. The owner and the staff are awesome. The coffee and food are amazing. We will be coming back whenever we are in the area.
Grabbed an ice matcha with almond milk. Had a great convo with owner. Loved the atmosphere and that it's a woman owned business. Really good drinks in an area that doesn't have a ton of options.
A long overdue post about "The Ministry", and how it has become a "mainstay" in our neighborhood, and the building I am in. The staff is always pleasant and friendly, and the environment has consistently remained inviting, exceptionally clean and makes me want to EAT! Some of the most unique take on plates, and a great variety of coffees, teas, specialty juice drinks, and of course the Wine selection is above board. If you're looking for a place to decompress and have a good bite and glass of sparkling rose, this is the place! I am a day one customer and critical about my food and drink (s)! I love the Ministry! Elisa, Rueben and the team are great! Oh and the DESSERTS! Thank you for great experiences everytime!
It is either the owner or the staff that work there in this shop are very rude and have zero customers service.
Will never go to this coffee shop again.
A great spot for a coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Quiet enough to study or work from there (lots of plugs and WiFi is available). The owner Elisa is a gem and the staff is all great. Food is delicious too - try the pao de queso or the beef bun.
Super friendly staff and absolutely delicious food (I had the almond milk / banana smoothie and then returned another time to try the avo toast and ginger tea - I recommend it all). Was so glad to find such tasty and healthy options!
Went in for a quick bite to eat and loved it.
The grilled cheese was by far the best that I ever had and coffee was great!
Great Latte and Oatmeal you have to try! It’s baked with blueberries and raspberry. Get the cream fresh on top. Best oatmeal I’ve ever had.
I’ve been on the hunt for different coffee shops with good tables and Wi-Fi for remote work, and The Ministry is a great spot for that! They have good coffee and breakfast foods, with great service and friendly staff.
The owner took our order and was very sweet and friendly. Our drinks and food were brought to our table and they have good space to do work with outlets and free Wi-Fi for 2 hours. You’re provided a country instead of a table number for your order to come which I thought was unique.
I got the iced vanilla latte and the breakfast bun sandwich which is an over-hard egg with cheese and special sauce. Loved my latte and the breakfast sandwich was filling! It was pretty quiet in the morning, we came about 10 minutes after they opened. It got busier around 11am but still had some seating available to grab. This is a great quick stop or a place to sit and get work done as well!
$1.50 up-charge for oat milk, ouch! Staff not clear on the menu and took our order wrong. Latte was bland. The pão de queijo was strange, very oily — I think they’re using an unusual flour and a cheese that’s not sharp enough. Wouldn’t repeat.
