The Neurology Center, Washington DC

I didn't have a good experience with the receptionist. She is not very attentive and confuses information provided. She was not paying attention to our phone conversation and left me on wait for a long time.
I had to spell my name and my address several times since she was distracted. Then she told me if I didn't provide my insurance information, she couldn't book an appointment. I didn't have my insurance information at the time, and found her not very customer friendly.frustrating experience.

I’ve never written a review before, but I feel compelled to after my excellent experience here. Dr Pulaski was fantastic - he explained everything very clearly and was very caring. Additionally, the staff are wonderful (Tammy in particular). They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure a very smooth client experience. All around this is a fantastic practice and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a Neurologist.

The Neurology Center refused me to see me after I was involved in a car accident and was experiencing neck and back pain as well as headaches. When I asked why, I was told it was because they did not want to deal with lawyers. Look elsewhere for a professional.

Dr. Kalpana Hari-Hall was one of the RUDEST, unsympathetic physicians I ever had the displeasure of meeting. Completely turned me off to a whole other facility entirely. I have had complex migraine issues since I was 10 yrs old.
Also wanted to prescribe me a $6,000 unnecessary medication -not covered by insurance. When I said I couldn't afford it, she said "Well, that's why it works" - - ABHORRENT
My medical history is detailed and again.complex.
Yet, I was scoffed at, interrupted and honestly insulted by this woman, who DID NOT ask and DID NOT listen to my treatment history or experiences and the issues I continue to have. Also the front desk staff were rude as well and completely unprofessional.
Anyways stay away from this rude and arrogant doctor, who is in it for prestige, $$$$ and NOT human connection.
She should be honestly ashamed of herself and frankly.terminated.
NEVER EVER have I been scoffed at or interrupted before in a physician's office.
I've never had a problem like this before. -All my doctors have taken the time to listen, been compassionate and sincere.

Dr. Pulaski is great. It is so refreshing to see a doctor that is concerned about the patient wellbeing rather than prescribing unnecessary procedures to make money. Everything about my experience was comfortable and professional, and he is just a doctor to keep. I would stop the search for a neurologist and try to book with Dr. Pulaski. I highly recommend him and the Neurology Center.

Great office atmosphere, Dr Herzfeld was very informative and seemed genuinely concerned. The office staff worked well together.

Dr. Herzfeld is everything you want a doctor to be: highly knowledgeable, attentive, inquisitive, sincere — and prompt! In short, she cares.

Dr. Herzfeld was very efficient and knowledgeable. She was well prepared, having done her homework. I look forward to a continuing relationship with her.

I was advised by my doctor to get a first-available appointment ASAP based on recent CAT scan results. I was on hold for more than 11 minutes without getting to a human. I then called back using the physician line mentioning my doc's referral and urgency. Despite that, the person answering put me back in the queue. After another 5 mins on hold, I gave up.

I have been working with Dr. Rhanni Herzfeld for almost 3 years now, and I cannot be more satisfied. She is what anyone might like to see in his or her doctor. And the staff is extremely competent, thoughtful, and focused.

Dr Herzfeld is so knowledgeable, patient, clear and efficient. Even though what brought me to see her is painful, the visit was a joy.
