Lovely hotel in Georgetown. We liked the brick look that carried into the lobby, and many restaurants are within walkable distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Access to the rooms in either wing involves going down one floor from the lobby, walking down a corridor, and then going back up by elevator. I liked the walk, but it does take longer than usual to get to your floor.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the exceptional wedding coordinator Nicole at the Ritz Carlton Georgetown, and we cannot sing their praises enough! From the moment we decided to host our wedding at this stunning venue, Nicole became our guiding light, ensuring that every detail was perfect.

Her professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to making our day special were truly unmatched. She listened carefully to our vision and made it come to life in the most breathtaking way. From the grandest elements to the tiniest details, she left no stone unturned.

The Ritz Carlton Georgetown is already an elegant and picturesque venue, but Nicole took it to the next level. She worked tirelessly to create a seamless and magical experience for us and our guests. Her expertise in wedding planning was evident, and she handled every aspect of our day with grace and precision.

Throughout the planning process, Nicole was a constant source of support and guidance. She kept us on track with timelines and provided valuable recommendations for vendors, helping us create a dream team that made our wedding day truly spectacular.

On the day of our wedding, Nicole orchestrated everything flawlessly. From the ceremony to the reception, every moment was executed with perfection. She ensured that we, as the bride and groom, were stress-free and able to fully enjoy our day.

Our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue and service were, and it's all thanks to the exceptional work of our wedding coordinator Nicole at the Ritz Carlton Georgetown.

If you're considering this venue for your wedding, we highly recommend it, and we especially recommend working with Nicole. She is a true gem and made our wedding day an unforgettable fairy tale. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This hotel is a true masterpiece of hospitality. The room's elegant design and well-appointed furnishings offered a luxurious and comfortable retreat, while the staff's genuine care and professionalism made my stay truly memorable. The hotel's dedication to sustainability and eco-friendly practices was evident through their initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint. The dining experience was a culinary journey, with a menu that featured a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The hotel's central location was a major advantage, allowing me to explore the city's attractions with ease. Without a doubt, this hotel is a haven of excellence and responsible luxury.

This has become one of our favorite hotels in the world. It is a unique building, the staff and service are excellent, and the location is very accessible to Georgetown and the waterfront. We do not stay anywhere else in DC now.

Special call out to George at valet stand. He’s excellent and a class act.

The rooms are exquisite in themselves as is the atmosphere But what blew me away after the valet parked my RR (rental Lbvs) he said me and my wife should visit the bar. And we were greeted by Isaac. This man holds himself as do a king and treats his personnel as kings and queens. He respectfully greeted my wife first (ladies first) and then me. He made the drinks beyond exceptional and such tasted exceptional. So to sums it down, the price of this hotel was worth it with just his hospitality alone. Very very very priceless experience and joy when Isaac shares his hospitality with you

Incredibly overpriced. Our room was barren, with no amenities, an issue with our toilet (continuously running) our and our AC was broken. The prices for food were outrageous as well. Much better spaces in the city to stay and would not recommend this. Disappointed, as we typically stay at Ritz properties when traveling. Will be looking elsewhere our next visit.

Last Saturday we decided to stop by the Ritz Carrolton in Georgetown, Washington, DC for a cocktail; so, we went to the Hotel Livingroom / dining lounge. We graciously greeted by Edward as we entered and we were seated at the place of our choice. Edward took the time to explain the new layout and menu in precise detail. Later that afternoon, Edward introduced us to the Restaurant Chef, Victoria Montenegro and she made a few Great suggestions on some menu items that would pair well with our bottle of wine. Needless to say, the food she helped us order was fantastic and unique! One of the orders was a smoked appetizer that was beautifully presented in a wooded box.

Although we have had many good experiences at this Hotel in the past; we would highly recommend the Hotel and Degrees Bistro to guests, travelers, and locals alike!

Thank you, Edward and Victoria, for being so kind and providing a wonderful experience.

We look forward to our next visit!

Sincerely,

Todd & Cristy Niefeld

Nice ritz! This location didn’t feel like one, but considering it’s size and that there was another one this location felt more cozy. The rooms weren’t like a usual ritz room, feeling more like a JW Marriott, but still luxurious clean and spacious. The overall feel of the hotel reminded me of the cabins somewhere in Colorado, like rustic but with that luxurious feel. Check in was smooth, and the men holding the doors open was another A+. Another point for Marriott, way more to go. Staying again when in DC!

Very unique property and walking distance to all the fun Georgetown hotspots.
The staff here are always really friendly and helpful. In addition to the great service there is also great food on site in the lobby level restaurant.

You expect the very best from this brand and you get it. We found the staff capable and friendly, the food truly exceptional, and the overall experience was as great as we expected.

Love the boutique vibe! And chef Victoria is even better! The food, delicious and approachable! We enjoyed the flare but also the integrity of the ingredients! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Top level service on historic location. Live and crowded inside but not loud at the same time.

The champagne was good but I paid for it to be good. The service was sparse and hard to come by once seated. Not given details on s’mores despite asking about them upon arrival. Really disappointed at the whole experience, which was slow, though polite, and certainly disjointed (multiple wait staff asking for orders but none of those orders being brought). Pretty atmosphere.

Drinks were on fire and snacks were delicious. We had the meat and cheese board and the prosciutto bread were slammers.

The salmon crudo wasn’t too flavorful but still delicious for those who love salmon.

Desserts were on fire. Must go.

Let me start off by saying I accidentally went to the other Ritz in DC and I started off disappointed.
However, when my uber pulled up to the Ritz in Georgetown I was so impressed with the architecture, the bellhops, the design and all around everything about it.

My room was ready for me, the lights were on and the tv had a screensaver of a roaring fireplace. Which gave me a very cozy feeling coming in out of the rain!
The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom and room overall was meticulously well kept. The bathroom toiletries were very nice.

I really fell in love with the building.

The food, oh my god the food. I ordered room service every day due to, 1 the rain, 2 I was traveling for work and 3 because after the first meal I fell in love with the food. Each meal was delicious. I ordered pasta, I had roasted chicken.the roasted chicken was amazing. The only negative was the breads were extremely dry and stale. Even breakfast was delicious. The food did not disappoint.

Ok the negatives
1. Pillows were terrible.extremely flat with no support.even after using all of them!
2. Towels were so rough it felt like my skin was being ripped off when drying myself.
3. My TV probably needs to be replaced, it was struggling when turning on and off and adjusting the sound.i had to keep unplugging it. The netflix link did not work as it listed there was no internet connection. Not a major deal since I was working so much the tv was minimal.

The absolute highlight of my trip was my interaction with Carlos at the front entrance. He was extremely professional and had an extremely warm personality. I felt right at home when I was coming and going. He spoke about how proud he was to work for such a great company and that is extremely hard to find anymore.
