I had an EXTREMELY pleasant experience today with Edward and Brian B. I had 38 small packages to send and was already cringing walking into the store knowing I'd be "that guy" holding everyone up. Edward did a fantastic job splitting up the work and when other customers came in, didn't make them wait. One continued to work with me and the other helped incoming customers. I think it would have been easy for other places to roll their eyes and make it miserable, but not with these two. We got a few laughs in a long the way and I'd honestly hope for every shipping experience to go like this one. I'll be coming back here instead of the FedEx up the street as often as I can.

Wonderful customer service. I had to drop off Comcast equipment and wasn't sure about the process. The gentleman finished everything for me within two minutes, all the while explaining it to me. Best experience at a UPS.

Thoughtful, patient staff really went the extra mile to help me with a large shipment. I really appreciate the effort and it made a big difference in my move!

Rule #1: The customer is always wrong.
Rule #2: Yes, annoying customer, you're wasting our time.

If you can tolerate rules 1 and 2, you'll mostly likely manage to figure it out.

Two stars because some of the staff try to help, and their location is awesome. No one around here owns cars, so being able to walk to this store to return amazon packages is super helpful.

First negative review I've written in my life and it goes to this UPS location for unprofessional and rude management. Take my advice.walking/driving the extra distance to avoid this store is worth it.

This store was super helpful when I was traveling in for work and needed to mail some things there. They held the boxes for me for a very reasonable charge and were extremely kind!

This customer service here was outstanding. The two regular clerks there are always helpful and nice to me whenever I come in.

Best customer service ever. I was in and out of there within 10 mins. I love this place. I will always use this location for sure!

Beware this store. I had a friend ship me some things when I was away on business, and they charged him 3x what they should have. They used a much larger box than was needed 16x16x16, which upped the bill from $32 or so to $97! My friend had no idea, so he paid the bill. Imagine my surprise when I received the box and it was 3/4 empty (with simply some packing paper thrown inside). I've complained to the corporate HQ, but since the stores are locally owned it's a long slog. I use UPS all the time to ship things. I have never had to pay anything like this for something so small and light.

As background, I was shipping a windbreaker, a small empty cloth North Face bookbag like we used in the 1980s, some gummy bears, a small pair of scissors, and a small iphone battery - that's it. (See attached photos.) It all fit inside a small Amazon box. As my friend didn't have a box, he asked them for one, and they chose a box that was huge and cost 3x more to ship than the smaller box. I've attached some photos of the items I had shipped, the box they used, and then the box I was able to easily put everything in (once I received it). I also show you just how empty their box was when I received it. I calculated that 4 1/2 of the boxes I used fit inside the box they used.

I'm just writing this as a public service. I would seriously consider going to any other UPS store than this one.

PS It seems maybe you can't upload photos. Well, I have them.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I arrived a little before 9 am on a Saturday when they were supposed to open and the person didn't arrive to the store until 9: 20. While I was waiting, several people starting arriving to mail their packages and either decided to wait or leave since they weren't open. When the person finally arrived, they didn't even bother to apologize to the 6 or so customers that were waiting outside their door for them to open. Definitely poor customer service and will not be back!

I’ve been here twice, first experience was fantastic, second experience horrible.
I was having trouble with one of my return shipments and they kicked me out of the store as soon as they closed. I understand that closing is closing but the lack of understanding and rudeness on behalf of the two employees here was unbelievable.
If you can go to another UPS store, do it.

Solid UPS. You may pay more, but their hours are good, service is solid and it's easy in/out location.

I can't say enough great things about the staff of this UPS Store. They were very helpful and efficient in creating 430+ labels and shipment arrangements. Highly recommend this business!

So I saw the recent negative reviews, and though I had a decent experience going here a few years back, I was curious to see if my 5-star ranking was no longer realistic.

Nope. Sean was super helpful as I had three boxes and one loose item that all needed to go back to my company. He took them all no problem and I was in and out of there fast with a reasonable price. Much easier than the Post Office, even if it does cost more.

I went to the UPS store because I needed notary services. They said they could do it but didn't want to and ultimately refused to because it had been a busy day. Talk about terrible customer service.

The manager of this location is incredibly rude.

After offering to keep my items at the store overnight since it was (according to him) too close to closing to process them, he reneged on the offer and told me I was too difficult to deal with after I asked who would be liable if something happened to the items overnight. I was not being antagonistic – merely concerned about items that had a sentimental and monetary value to me, and aware that freak accidents like fires and floods happen. When I tried to discuss the situation further since I couldn't return the following morning and was moving out of town in two days, he laughed, turned his back on me, and refused service.

I would strongly advise against patronizing this UPS Store for anything other than dropping off pre-paid returns.

Completely incompetent over two experiences. The first, I needed to send something to another country. I asked what the total price would be including all expenses, and was told $120. I asked if there were any other fees or expenses and was told no.

Package is sent, and I get a notice that there is a customs charge of $120. I'm told I can either pay that, or pay $120 to have it shipped back to me. I complain to the store, and they tell me that they're not responsible for customs charges and I should have known what the fees where.

I don't ship things internationally very often. The whole point of hiring them to do it is that they are supposed to be experts who inform customers of these sorts of things when they come to them for help.

The second time, I had a delivery driver who couldn't be bothered to use the call box to contact me for a signature. I contacted UPS who offered to send it to this store instead, which I accepted.

I get there and they charge me ten bucks for the service of having accepted the package. I complain that I wasn't informed of this, and the same guy from before condescendingly told me that I should know that the UPS Store is a different company and I shouldn't expect them to work for free.

Go to Fedex. There's a ton of them around.

I think the guys who work here are Mormon. I dropped the f bomb when they told me they refused my delivery (they gave me no explanation), and they responded by telling me to "get out and never come back. "

If you're looking for effortless customer service, don't come here or use UPS.

I tried to use the UPS online site to print at this store and it didn't work. Then I was told to send an email with instructions for printing to a direct store email. I did so and arrived at the store ~10 minutes later to find that no one knew anything about my print job, nor could they access the email account to which I'd sent them the documents. I was rudely told by an associate that I could just use the computer to log in to my email and print my documents (aka I compromised the security of my accounts b.c. UPS's system is atrocious).

To be fair, they did give us free paper clips, allow us to use their white-out, and the other associate was very helpful at scanning our documents.

Until UPS can show improvement in the printing customer service department, I'm using FedEx Office. (Btw why is it not called FedEx Kinkos?)

(It all happened very quickly. UPS is a precision kind of business. I'm a precision kind of guy. I had precision expectations, or hopes)

Short version: They will close early on you.

Longer version: I walk up to the doors 2 - 3 minutes before closing (I had no idea parking would be that bad) with a sealed package in my arm to send off. I pulled at each of the double doors. They were locked. I looked through the doors 20 feet into the interior, past the gate that had already been dropped, to two young men who were sitting at their UPS registers, turning there heads from just having looked at me pulling at the doors, laughing, hands in their lap, and just having a good time doing nothing. I back away from the doors slightly in order not to appear demanding, and was there for another 5 seconds. I received a couple more turned heads, as they continued with their merry, casual conversation, and waiting for 7 o'clock to happen. Another man walked in from the back and said something to the further away seated guy, who then nodded and continued, again, with his merry seated conversation, across with the other seated guy. I began to leave. Something told me to just wait at the door. However, that is not my style, to appear demanding and presumptuous. So I didn't remain.

I believe they weren't laughing at me. However, by their behaviour for the few uncomfortable seconds I was there, it is easy to suspect that they may have been waiting for that moment to happen, where someone tries to open the doors just after they had locked them and shut the gate.

My question is, why would you have your employees sit down at their registers just after closing the store early, and just have them wait there until 7 PM? And upon discovering someone at the door withing the official open time (I looked at my clock and still had an official 120 seconds), why would it be OK to just turn your head and continue having your merry conversation, ignoring the person 20 feet away from you? Why not say - or sign - something? Or, why not have them "doing" something just after closing early, so that a would-be customer doesn't have to feel as awkward as I did, wondering if the happy seated lap people were going to do, say, or sign something?

In a true customer-oriented business, how do you see someone in need of the exact services you are offering, within (or without) the times you are offering, at your glass doors, and not do, say, or sign, something?

I don't know if I will be back. I was already overwhelmed by the volume of foot, bike, and car traffic I had to face just to walk up to this UPS Store. I left feeling even more out of place, walking back to my car two blocks across the busy, social street with the package in my arm that I was not supposed to have, having just wasted the half-hour+ I took to get there. They were unaware of the effort it took, and didn't care enough to acknowledge me within official times.
