Bay Tidal Basin reviews
14Nice place to walk around, especially during the cherry blossom time. Peak bloom was March last week this year and we visited April 1st week. There were lot of flowers, and it looked beautiful. There are lot of monuments in the full circle walk around tidal basin. Kids will run around and enjoy this place
The cherry blossoms are pretty
But please avoid visiting the place by car. You will not find a parking space and get stuck in the crowds. DC metro is a better choice.
Btw please DON’T pick the flowers or pulling the branches. ㅠㅠ
Tidal basin had no cherry blossom left at the time of our visit on April 07. It was crowded but fun to walk around the basin. Atmosphere around the Tidal Basin and all monuments were very peaceful experiences.
Beautiful place to stroll around even when the cherry blossoms aren't at peak bloom. We ran into a small garden of tulips and they were so beautiful to take photos with!
Visited the cherry blossom peak this year and it was beautiful. If you like flowers and water and just want to relax looking at the flowers, this is the place and time to be there. It will make a beautiful and wonderful memory in your heart!
If you plan to visit during Cherry Blossom festival, make sure you visit around sunrise to avoid crowd. It gets very crowdy and you won’t be able to get a good picture otherwise
We lucked out and we’re able to visit during cherry blossom bloom. Impressed with the hard work of our National Park Service.
It’s awesome. Highly recommend the place. Feels great. It’s very beautiful during cherry blossom time.
Amazing time to visit during Cherry Blossom! My first visit there and had great experience
Amazing place to walk especially during sakura season. It can get crowded but still breathtaking. Beautiful blossoms for everyone to enjoy. The path is stroller and dog friendly which is a plus so everyone in the family can come!
The center of the US imperium, still lovely and a little flamboyant and it's springtime splendor
Beautiful day for walking around the Tidal Basin! Cherry trees were fully blossoming on this week! So many people but so fun to get here on time! Watching the planes and birds fly in the sky; the paddle boarding inside the lake; all people are walking around and enjoying beautiful flowers!
It's a good place to be at during Cherry blossom. There are sign saying "refreshment". Make sure you walk almost to the Thomas Jefferson memorial and there's a Refreshment booth/building. It's located past the too expensive food trucks.
I think there should be more signs so people don't mistakenly think the sign is referring to food trucks.
Beeeaauuutttiiffullll!
Cherry blossom and tidal basin
The perfect way to start your spring season!
It's insanely beautiful and pretty.
But be careful of the crowds during the peak season. May be you want to come a week or two later:)
