They did not have the items that were on their online menu. It was ok.not great. Service was so-so.

Top notch service, presentation, plating, flavor, and execution. Risotto that so many places have trouble serving because having it sit too long or cool ruins the texture and consistency, this place does to perfection.

It is a cozy little restaurant with pretty good food.:) We got the cream based farfalle pasta I think it was and the cream sauce was delicious. The chicken was tender but a little bland. I would consider going again. My first time having better quality Italian food in the DMV, so I was pretty happy with the experience.

Very rude and disrespectful front desk! Kept us waiting and then just simply uttered that they won’t be able to seat us! No, sorry or any apology for keeping us wait for 15 mins!

Delicious pasta. We had the goat cheese gnocchi and the crab ravioli. Both had the perfect amount of flavors, perfect textures and a good portion. The service was also great. It’s a romantic ambience with dim lighting in a cozy atmosphere. It would be best to book a reservation on the weekend, especially after 6: 30.

This was the best restaurant for Italian food in Washington. This is probably the best Italian I have had in a long time. Thanks so much for a great experience. From Niagara.

Went there around 7pm after making us wait for a while the hostess said there was no table. When we asked how long would be wait for a table she said they won’t have any table open in the next 3 hours! Felt very unwelcomed.

OMG awesome place. Great find. Appetizers were prussetta with goat cheese and balsamic.that was delicious. My son had the ossobucco and fell off the bone. The rest of us had the pasta. Pasta is homemade and delicious. The crab ravioli were delicious. Had serbert and after dinner drinks. All the plates were empty cause it was really good food. Definitely make reservations as this place fills up quick. Would highly recommend to go and eat here. Will come back when back in DC

Tortino staff racially profiled my friend and I after we came in for a reservation. We decided to eat somewhere else after we noticed how tight the space was, however, we used their bathroom and told the hostess we would possibly come back. We ended up dining at Alta Strada, and during our dinner I received a phone call from one of the employees and he began yelling at us over the phone and accusing us of stealing $200 worth of food, and he “had us on camera”. I was extremely confused and I could not hear him well, so I hung up and called back 3 minutes later for clarity. The same man answered the phone and gave the phone to the hostess, he said we dined in and walked out after being served and needed to come back to the restaurant and police were there for us. I immediately realized they confused my friend and I with other black guests, and told the hostess that we came in to use the restroom and they seen two black women walking in and assumed we were the robbers that stole $200 worth of food. The hostess immediately recognized who we were and started apologizing and saying the other employee confused us with other black women and I was beyond upset. The staff needs to have an intense reevaluation and I do not recommend this restaurant for people of color at all. They completely ruined my outing. Thank God we talked to the hostess when we arrived to Tortino or else the entire staff would have been set on the idea that we were the two black women that walked out with $200 worth of food. I will be making sure that employee has consequences.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant that provides good food at a relatively reasonable price. Seems quite popular, the venue filled up quickly even on a weekday night.

Very good restaurant good appetizers and good portions and the meals were enough and very very well made fresh and the chef it’s excellent, one tip if your putting oil on the side with the bread use a good olive oil the rest desserts price and everything worthy! Thank you
