Twelve After Twelve reviews
18Twelve After Twelve is a multi-level, music-centric lounge. After going up the stairs, there was a colorful floral wall with a neon sign that said "Once Upon a Time" and clock. I liked how the ceilings were decorated with origami cranes and birdcage lights. The female bartenders were dressed for receiving tips. The bar was packed. I liked how the venue had music and a laser show. With our event wristbands, my friends and I had $4 Shamrock Shots. They were pre-mixed and tasted like green apple. You couldn't taste the alcohol.
It's one of my favorite places to party. Many floors and awesome decorations. The only issue is that now they started to change to get in. It's a shame.
This place employs some of the worst people I’ve ever met. I was made fun of for being domestically abused outside of this club and having a miscarriage. The young male and the women who worked outside today apparently thought that was funny (the older male was very kind). I hope these people will no longer be employed here or anywhere close by after this hopefully and I’m more than happy to talk about it if anyone wants to reach out. I will be discussing this with the other club owners in the area who I know as well. If this isn’t addressed then it is what it is and what goes around comes around.
Beautiful place, very good vibe all around. Music changes from room to room, floor to floor! My new fav dc club!
Smells like puke throughout the maximalist rooms that are filled with drunk bros standing around yelling over the music.
Not a place for dancing.
Spent ten minutes walking around thinking I’d find an area that didn’t have vomit-soaked carpet but walked out.
Like a college house party with basic GW kids mixed with even more basic DC table service type ppl…
This place has such a different mansion vibe -and 4-5 DJs playing in different rooms why would you go anywhere else so cool
People were using drugs right next to me inside the club. I reported it to security. Security told me they were ok with the people using drugs and did nothing about it. We left immediately.
Bouncers on power trips kicking people out waiting patiently to get let in all while harassing people in line for bribes in order to let them into an event they already paid for.
The vibe and music were not good taste for a club. They way overpriced my drinks and automatically charged my tip which I don’t mind doing if they just asked. The people and staff there were not friendly either and I couldn’t help but wanting to leave 30 min in. Waste of time, money, and effort.
Thieves frequent this place, my girlfriend had her phone stolen here and her friends phone was stolen here a month later
This was my first time visiting since it changed from 18th Street Lounge (RIP). It has a 5-star atmosphere, great music and a good crowd. So why 3 stars? Me and my date arrived at 9: 30pm on a Saturday and the ID checker outside said the cover was $10, but ladies were free until 10: 30pm. When I paid the staff member collecting the cover, she expected me to pay $20 even though she saw I was with a lady. At the bar, I ordered a vodka/red bull and said I wanted rail vodka. The bartender got a plastic cup that looked like it was about 6 ounces and made my drink and charged me $17. I know there is inflation going on, but that is a crazy price to pay for a 6 ounce drink! I would have tolerated the price if I got my drink in a pint glass. I love the atmosphere of this place, so I will go back, but it will be a while, as I just don't think it's reasonable to pay $17 for a small rail drink.
A tourist to the city, and 12 after 12 was a fun spot to be. Lots of variety and sensory experiences going on. Each room has different music, lights, people, and vibes! All of the rooms were very cool, kind of feels like a really large sick house party. Outside and inside
Would leave a 0/5 if I could. Allowed club patrons into a private event for free. When organizers of the event attempted to stop unticketed guests from entering, club management screamed in organizers face, towered over them, and was super aggressive. I thought he was going to hit them. Event was promoted and sold as lasting from 10 pm to 2 am. The club claimed the event ended at 12 am. Super unprofessional venue. Not the way to handle a dispute. Unwelcomed patrons ruined the vibe of the private event, public altercation between club staff and event organizers made me feel unsafe.
Favorite club in the city. I love how many options I have when I come here. I always bring my friends/ family here when they visit me. The club fits any age group. Highly recommend
Lots of different music yo choose from. The security is so sweet and friendly. Drinks feel a little over priced but gratuity is included. Nothing hut good vibes in here. Bathrooms are getting renovated which is good in my book!
Different music atmospheres and nice decorations which is cool but drink prices are way too high even for this area. They didn't have two of the drinks I order because they didn't have the ingredients and I still had to pay $37 for two drinks with a 20% tip already include in the bill for a service I didn't like. There are better options around and way cheaper.
Needs to be more air circulation but the girl at the door 'Jessica ' she helped me so much in difficult situation! Thank you so much for politeness and all help!
