United States Postal Service reviews
15Parking lot is filled with employee cars, so finding a spot may require some searching in the neighborhood.
They make up their own hours. Went on a Monday at 9 a.m. And they were having a party and said that they would not open for another half an hour. I was late to work and couldn't even get my package mailed. Came back on Saturday at noon when they are supposed to be open until 2 p.m. There were clerks in the office but doors were locked and they were not letting anyone in for no apparent reason.
This location is perfectly adequate for basic postage issues, and I saw many people coming in for passport pictures. They very adamantly would not allow hand-stamping envelopes for our wedding invitations. We ended up driving to Roselyn where they were more than happy to accommodate hand stamping
I never received my 7 packages and no one was able to help me. I was given a number for supervisor, called it multiple times and it does not work.
Horrible USPS location. Was one of two customers and waited 14 minutes while the staff shouted at each other in the back. When they finally got to me, the cashier ripped the tape off my package (also ripping my packing label) another employee told me to put on my package. She then told me to leave since I now had nothing to ship. Never been treated this poorly by any employee at any USPS ever.
I’m not sure why the reviews are so bad for this USPS location. Yes, the lines are long, but that’s expected bc the USPS shipping rates are less than UPS and FedEx. I’ve used this post office location multiple times and have received good customer service. Mr. Anthony is a gem— very pleasant to deal with, he apologizes for the long lines and thanks you for your patience. My packages were delivered in a timely manner without issue. I’ll be returning here again.
Wait was over 20 minutes because there was only one person working the counter… and it is at least 90 degrees. Line was out the door with one person working.
After a month of contacting them because I didn't receive my package, I got an impatient, unprofessional, and rude phone call telling me they will do nothing more to find the package they lost. When asking for clarification, the employee just repeated the same jargon loop again with a more hostile tone each time. This location is obviously not dedicated to service and I will make sure to remember how I was treated for a long time.
So many lost packages, as well as packages marked as delivered only to arrive days later. I haven’t received paper mail since I moved. This place is a joke.
They lost my package then shunned me away talking about we don’t hold packages anymore well where did you leave it
There is man at this location that was incredibly rude to me and several other women in line. Not one of the employees was wearing a mask in the main mail room that helps customers. I took a few packages out to the PO Box area to package them and get out of the way of all the other people, considering the requirements to social distance, and the man came out without a mask on to yell at me for stealing the envelopes. He then proceeded to tell his co-workers how dumb I was. It was a terrible experience and I will NEVER go back to this location.
Please SHUT DOWN THIS LOCATION. STILL OPEN ON 89 degree day with NO AIR and WAIT RIDICULOUS! I’m a healthcare worker and this is a HEALTH HAZARD that I will make sure gets reported to the health department. DC has to do better smfh
Absolutely horrible even though there is a line customers can freely go up to the counter whenever they please. I stood in line waiting while both female cashiers flirted with a male customer That was able to walk freely back and forth to the counter while both cashiers took their time helping him. Just horrible. Will rather drive out to MD or VA where I know I’ll get better service. 6/24/2020
I stopped by to drop off a prepaid package. The post office had three service reps and a manager on a Saturday! The manager was available to answer any questions people waiting in line might have which was super helpful.
The line went pretty quickly and everyone was very friendly.
My package arrived at its destination on time.
