Uplift is awesome! Post-COVID, I was in a rut and my gym membership had lapsed. I would sometimes work out but lacked motivation and consistency. Nancy set up a personalized workout program and provided guidance and support on the nutrition side as well. It's been about five months. Strength training sessions 3x/week and a more reasonable diet have brought really great results: lower weight, reduced body fat, and added muscle. More importantly, I feel better, sleep better, and have less stress.

I actually look forward to the workouts. They are customized and constantly challenge you without being overwhelming. All of your reps are tracked and you can see (and feel) the progress over time. It's incredibly motivating. There is a maximum of five people per training session, and Nancy and/or Glen are always there to make sure you're hitting the correct form. Plus, there is an app that makes scheduling very convenient (for those times when you travel or need to switch sessions). The community is great - people of all different stages in their fitness routines in a very supportive, positive atmosphere. Cannot recommend Uplift highly enough!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Uplift for people of all levels of fitness and experience. Whether you are interested in staying fit, getting fit, getting healthy, really whatever that involves fitness and nutrition, Nancy and team will work for you and with you to make it happen.

For context about me, I have been gym-phobic my entire life. I could never really get into exercise because I got bored with the routine and lacked the discipline. I've had gym membership multiple times but always lost interest and ended up wasting a lot of money.

I wasn't happy with my level of fitness pre-COVID, but things got much worse during COVID for obvious reasons. My wife and I discussed this multiple times and we agreed that we should give personal training a shot. She found Nancy and arranged a meeting - I was skeptical but decided to go anyway. When we walked in, we told Nancy that we were not ready to commit which surprised her because she said the consultation we were about to have was only for people who were ready to commit. My wife was ready to commit but I was not. Nancy graciously let us continue the consultation without my commitment, and I begrudgingly ended up committing later because my wife and I had decided to do this together.

Best. Decision. I. Have. Ever. Made.

For the first two to three weeks, it was hard and I was not totally bought in but kept coming. As I got to know Nancy and learn more about her program, I realized that she truly cared about me as a person as well as my success in meeting my goals. She built a personalized program around me, had the most patience that I have ever been afforded in a gym, and offered nutrition tips while providing an easy to follow/commit to program for nutrition. The fitness program changes often which ensures I never get bored, and it's clear that the program is personalized because everyone in the gym is almost always doing something different even though we are working out at the exact same stations. When I've occasionally had to cancel multiple sessions in a row, Nancy would reach out to check in on everything and make sure I was ok, offering as much support as she could, whether it was emotional, physical, whatever.

Since then, I have been a regular and I have honestly not felt this good physically in a long time. Uplift is truly a family, and Nancy makes sure that people who train together (up to 5 together at a time MAX but often less than that) know each other's names, encourages people to share information about themselves, etc. She will even tailor playlists to people's individual tastes, which she remembers for each of her members.

I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience at Uplift. Nancy and team, thank you for everything you have done to help me be more healthy and more confident in the gym! For everyone else, if you are on the fence about joining, jump over it, you won't regret it!

PS - Glenn is also awesome! While him and Nancy have totally different styles, they share the care, positivity, and family spirit that makes Uplift what it is. If you can, try to schedule time with both of them, you'll thank me for it!
