Van Leeuwen Ice Cream reviews
18We stopped in to get a pistachio ice cream with black cherry and chocolate chip. It was delicious. There were a lot of vegan choices of ice cream. Most of the ice cream here tend to be pretty sweet. We enjoyed being able to have ice cream that is dairy free. The mint chocolate chip was delicious.
It really is criminally expensive, good ice cream. It’s crazy that you can buy a pint from their store for about the same price as a single scoop. Laughable.
Really good ice cream, great fudge, I haven't had good fudge in so long, nice spot for ice cream at night
I had the vanilla ice cream, fudge brownie ice cream, oreo toppings and a lil fudge
Went in when it was empty and got the brown sugar cookie dough ice cream. Ice cream was decent, but the price was astronomical. I got the smallest cup size (pink) and a very tiny scoop and it was $7.54…you could get a whole gallon, maybe 2 for that price at the grocery store. Taste 3/5
Value 1/5
Total 2/5
Nice setting, friendly staff, they have ice cream pints to go. Based on the setting, flavors and line of people waiting, I though it was going to be really good but I was slightly disappointed, the shake had an odd taste, not bad but also not that good. Maybe I will stick to ice cream if I try them again.
Sweet potato marshmallow coconut.omg! Vegan ice cream is not supposed to taste soooo good! I'm just sayin.
Ice cream is really tasty, but their prices are extortionate. It’s cheaper to buy a pint of their own ice cream in the grocery store than it is to buy a single scoop in this shop…
The prices are outrageous for the sizing.also, the employees aren't the most friendly bunch.
Amazing ice cream.but you have to pay much more than what I would consider reasonable for the pleasure to enjoy it. It's over $6.5 a scoop. If that's fine for you, then enjoy, because this is top tier quality ice cream with some very creative flavors. If it's too much, you'll get more bang for your buck elsewhere.
Loving this new ice cream shop in AdMo! They have a great combination of classic and fun flavors.
Happy to see Van Leewan’s take a pro human stance with the planet earth ice cream in light of recent controversy surrounding aliens… we come in piece (s of matcha cake)
Delicious ice cream and friendly service! Great selection of treats. Wish there were more seating but otherwise it’s a great space.
Great ice cream! Great service! Not sure why the complaints in other reviews, seems like maybe the place had some issues when they first opened up, but now it’s running like a well oiled machine.
The most tasteless and expensive for the taste pistachio ice cream.it also had a strange texture of chewy and sandy.overrated and service was sad. The woman that served us clearly hated her job.
Not sure why reviews are poor. I ate the best ice cream I’ve had in a very long time and had excellent, caring service. I will definitely be back. I already suggested it to others as well!
Delicious ice cream in a great location for a late night treat.minus 2 stars for the service/organization inside.there was no orderly queue so people would walk right up to the counter past others waiting in a line and they were served first.also there were 3 gals behind the counter but seemed to be waking around and not tending to the customers in the store already.this definitely needs to be worked out, as we were waiting a long time compared to the disproportionate amount of customers in the store at the time
The Honeycomb flavor is absolutely amazing! I also love the trendy and vibrant atmosphere of the interior. Overall, a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
I got a root beer float. It was good, but they could have at least chilled the root beer in the fridge before pouring it on the ice cream. Who wants a lukewarm root beer float? Also, they didn't even use a soda machine. They opened a bottle of Maine root beer and just poured it on. I could make a better root beer float with Bryers ice cream and a McDonald's soda fountain.
