Washington Passport Agency was extremely helpful in guiding us through our application process for our passports. Our program funds students to study abroad each summer and the agency sent agents to us for a passport outreach day. We were able to process over 50 passports and they received them in time for their trip despite the current wait times to receive passports. They provided great customer service to our students and families and patient with us as we navigated special circumstances. We are very grateful to the agency for their work with our students!

The customer service is terrible! They were no help I was having a family emergency and needed an apt. My passport expired and I didn’t realize until today. The lady and the supervisor on the phone were extremely rude.

I did my passport from Mach and haven't gotten it yet been calling 2 weeks now n yet to get someone to answer the phone

One of the best functioning government agencies! Amazing experience with our in-person passport renewals here (urgent situation). These folks are very hardworking and they are trying their best to accommodate a large number of applicants. Every single staff was helpful and extremely polite. All you need to follow is call the toll free number patiently for couple of times and book an appointment. Everything else will be taken care for you by this agency if your situation is urgent/emergency. Please dont go here without an appointment and assume that things will workout for you. Get the appointment, follow the instructions and you will have a seamless experience.

Called 2 weeks before my travel date. I lucked up and got appointment on the same date as my travel (very scary, dont wait this long). My appt was at 9am and flight at 6pm. I arrived at 8: 27am. My paper work and I headed out the door at 9: 07am. I came back at 11: 30am for my scheduled pickup time and got my passport and walked out the door at 11: 54am. THEY ARE THE TRUTH. Im off to London

The only organized and positive experience of an otherwise insanely ridiculous passport application process (w/ the current delays). We were incredibly fortunate to secure an urgent travel appt after we didn’t get our passport during the expedited window.

Flew all the way from Florida for this appointment and thankfully everyone was very helpful, patient and nice! Brandy was so unbelievably kind and helpful - left us feeling at ease for what has otherwise been incredibly stressful!

Everyone has 8 am appointments so get there by 7 to be first in line.

The security officer didn’t help me a bit today she turned me and my daughter away after I told her that my child’s passport expired and we are traveling in 3 days and I need help! All she did is starring at my face and repeating the same sentence “ you have to call and make an appointment” well I told her I have been trying to get an appointment over the phone for the past few days but they are all booked. In urgent situation like that the passport office should be more considerate and accommodate families with little kids especially if the travel date is within 2-3 days!

Parking is terrible and people double park in front of you even though it says no parking tow zone but most will move when you ask them if you need to get out. The diplomats act like their special so watch out because some might hit your car with their baby carriages as they are exiting their diplomatic plated cars. The actual passport agency officials are nice. The process is a little slow but if you need a passport issued the same day this is the place to come get one. I only wish they would relax the scheduling procedure because before Covid-19 you could schedule your own appointment but now scheduling is centralized and can take awhile to get someone on the phone. There really should be some accessible parking in front too!

Was told 8-10 weeks and it’s been over 12 weeks. Status says “not available” and the website is always having “temporary issues”. You hold the citizens most sensitive documents. You need a better tracking system. Calling the main number is pointless unless you have an impending travel date and you better be within 13 days or they won’t even talk to you. I can’t enroll my kids in summer camp or school. To make it more unbelievable, THE US STATE DEPARTMENT wants you to send your social, credit card info, names, addresses and birthdays IN AN EMAIL to “upgrade” your service to expedited. Their solutions are to “reapply” instead of looking up your info and just telling you. Reapply with what? You have everything I would need to send you more money or reapply. This whole system is a joke. Zero accountability. Plan on getting your congressman or senator involved to get anything done- as if they don’t have better things to do.

Absolutely horrible experience! They have the worst systems & processes and rude security guard at the door. Had an appointment was almost 45mins late over a confirmation number I never got. They then made me sit on the phone and wait on a customer service line for 45mins. Just for me to get a confirmation #, email & still tell me I don’t have an appointment. Then waited in line forever just to get to the processing part. I really needed my passport for an emergency but I recommend anybody if you can wait WAIT!

If you are lucky enough to get an appointment this place is the place to go! My appt was at 8am but I was able to go in a little earlier. It took less than 10 minutes to drop off my application and passport. Once I did, they said to come back 2 hours later. I went back an hour later and my passport was ready to be picked up! I am so impressed with how efficient they are!

When we came to the service provider, they couldn't give us any good service. We made an appointment over the phone and were abused without giving us a confirmation number. They refuse to tell us who we should contact. They provide very bad service

I was kind of scared after seeing all of the bad reviews but surprisingly we had a great experience. We got in at 9: 30 and walked out at 2: 40. Thank you!

That is not help the people in the USA work history this office a bad staffer specially the customer service it is laying the people. The government office assènent the workers

When we had our appointment at a USPS location at the beginning of March was told we had plenty of time, no problem, and don’t expedite. Now we are less than a week from our trip. No passports. Called to get them updated to expedited and Express delivery. They said there was no guarantee they’d get to me if I payed to upgrade but that they definitely would not if I didn’t. Still don’t have our passports.
