A very nice variety of restaurants to get almost anything you want. Clean areas and bathrooms.

Bussdown’s jerked chicken is so colorful and flavorful. They’re very Allergy conscious and I felt comfortable eating there despite a sea food allergy. Falafel Inc- my go to between class lunch because it’s fast, cheap, healthy and filling. I love it. Arepa zone- the tequeños and pabellon on bowl are so tasty and warm (I’d hit it 3.5-4 stars) but too expensive in my opinion. Roaming rooster- always tasty and flavorablw I’m never disappointed although the spice level varies from time to time. Bindaas- not that great for Indian food but the fries are good. Overall all the restaurants provide a diverse and delicious variety of flavors!

First timer. They have plenty of options. Went with the Arepas. Pabellón arepa. Very good. Next will try falafel place. Looks good and price is good

The food variety here is extreme. Please check that you don't lose your entire lunch hour selecting what to have lunch, with the variety there that is likely. Also bring your card, as some of the outlets only take card.

It's a delightful spot to explore, especially during quieter moments. Lunchtime tends to be the most bustling period. I find myself returning here frequently due to my fondness for the ambiance. It's definitely worth checking out.

UPDATE 2023:
Totally different from before, this place has become an epic retail food court with many DC businesses and some regional, national, and perhaps even international restaurants represented. Prices are high due to inflation, but Capo Deli, Roaming Rooster, Nim Ali, Raw-ish, Falafel Inc, Bandoola Bowl, ArepaZone, and Bullfrog Bagels, to name a few places, are all great. If you'd rather sit down with table service, there's Bindaas and Duke's Grocery. Definitely a different world from what was here before.

Pre-2019 review: Other than Paul Bakery, there's really not much going on here. It's a nice way to walk a block or two without having to be outside, but that's it.

Great options. Completely changed from when I went several years ago. They have a British pub, Greek options, healthy options, chipotle and bagels. There are other options too. Something for everyone.

Upscale food court with some good places. We ate here several times. Avoid the Greek place Alitiko as the food, which was not as good as the rest. Note that some don't give cups for water; you can fill your bottle up at the filler at the drinking fountains though.

This place is awesome. The food is great. Especially the Japanese noodles. They are the best. So yummy

It was empty when we went, but we were looking for some Guatemalan food, and we found it at Nim Ali, nice food. Loved the garnachas.

A multi-level food court with a convenient CVS Pharmacy Stores. Attractive, happy for your visits. In a couple of the sit-down dining rooms I get a real feeling of Washington DC's sweet camaraderie. Just a quick step across a shared main way is Founding Farmers DC, American restaurant. Is a true 200 year rose offering.

Arepa Zone
This was my second time getting lunch from Arepa Zone inside Western Market. I would go back again tomorrow if my budget allowed! This place is delicious. Last week I had a Vegana Arepa and the Caprese Vegetarian Arepa. Today I opted for the Capresa Vegetarian Arepa again and also the Full House Cachapa which the cashier suggested. Oooooooo weeeeeee talk about a plate for of goodness. The Vegana is black beans, avocado and plantain. Capresa is qieso de mano, avocado, basil and tomato. The Full House of goodness gracious Cachapa is shredded beef, black beans and qieso de mano. YES, although my other choices were indeed vegetarian I do enjoy meat lol. This Cachapa hit every note of sweet, savory, juicy, just enough spice and flavor! Just go try it for yourself.
