Whole Foods Market, Washington DC

This was a great Wholefoods with a great selection! Foods which are imported are also featured here, at a very reasonable price. The salad bar is the best thing about this store, you can get a quick, easy, and relatively healthy lunch!

You get discounts through Prime membership, very cool idea. The groceries were very good, fresh and not too expensive.

I have lived in the neighborhood since before this store opened. I have seen it go down in the past 4-5 years. It used to be a place to hang out and get good food. The quality of the prepared food has gone down significantly. Shelves are not restocked in time. At many busy times only the self checkout lanes are open. The bakery at this point is not better than Giant’s. The latest example is the birthday cake I ordered. They can do no decorations, only happy birthday X. Ok I get it-no fancy stuff anymore (for the same order they did elaborate hand-drawn decorations 4 years ago). But then I ordered a vanilla sheet cake with fresh fruit filling. I got a stale chocolate sheet cake with a block of vanilla frosting all around and no fruit. This really takes the cake! So disappointing.

4.50 for a slice of trash piece of pizza that had hair on it! Never again! I won’t be back to this disgusting place

No more breakfast hot bar: (They’ve switched to only pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches. Still love this Whole Foods, though. Great seafood counter.

For managers: Wonder if pre-packaged egg bites could be an option for a lower carb choice than sandwiches.

5 star. The staff is so fantastic. Also, the folks who clean the restrooms and Facilities do a great job. A very, very great job.

Smaller store. Extremely busy on weekends. Stock is replenished overnight, so later in the day stock may be low or gone for popular or sale items. Most of the clerks really work hard to help.

Their Amazon return is EASY and convenient.

They provide and pack the returned item for shipping, and you will receive your refund in minutes.

Typical excellent merchandise and service, more expensive than many alternatives but also better.

Their so-called baguette is harder than a rock. It's not edible. Not only was it overpriced, but it was cut in size by nearly a half.

The store tries very hard to provide something for everyone with Gucci tastes. There's always an interesting impulse item or the quirky ingredient here that you need for a recipe, which is terrific, but having some basics like a small normal corn bread mix (not one with a dozen gluten free ingredients) would be welcome.

It's a whole foods.they are all nice, have a great selection of healthy and not-so-healthy foods that are generally overpriced. You should know you are going to pay more when you walk in the door. So no complaints about that. My only complaint is that some of the employees are not very friendly or polite. The gal working the self- checkout was a good example. Doesn't seem to like her job. Oh well.

Whole Foods Market is a great grocery store of the gourmet variety. Selections range from short ribs, jumbo shrimp, poultry and lamb. A full range of canned goods and fresh produce. Also a full like of natural health and beauty products.

Good vegetables, deli and dry goods. Great beer and wine selection. Good for getting meals ready to eat or close to ready. Higher prices than other grocery stores in general. I find it very worth making the trip to get the things that I want from here and then go over to the neighboring Giant for the rest.

My entire experience at Whole Foods, was great. First off, there was plenty of parking, my son easily found a spot in their parking garage, which leads right into their store. You get a parking ticket and can park 90 minutes, free. The store was huge, there were plenty of carts. The fresh fish and meat were great, and we purchased a good amount of fresh salmon, and other seafood. I found everything I needed to cook for my son and I, which is huge. Fresh produce was great, I got fresh collard greens, kale, green, beans, spinach, onions, to name a few. They also had personal items UPDATE: 3/10/23. Still a great experience. Fresh foods, wonderful salad and hot food bar. My go to store in D. C.

Not a reliable customer - less star's from participating groceries but food is above average rather pricing is per diem - review's.

A little uncomfortable, felt like I was being racialy profiled. Cop says "I am brown too". I did security enough to kind of have a permanent sort of situational awareness. This might help all you security officers and police officers moonlighting at grocery stores. If the person you are needlessly shadowing never ever ever looks over their shoulder or even turns to look at you, afer seeing you for the fourth time somewhere else in the store. You might be wasting your time.

I was able to find most of the items on my grocery list. The staff on deck were friendly and knowledgeable of the store inventory.

This location never have anyone station at the customer service counter. Today I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come help me when looking around the store I saw a few workers standing around talking not knowing one of them belongs at the the customer service counter her name was Victoria she had no care in the world
