Yours Truly DC Hotel - Vignette Collection by IHG

I came here while this place was still called the Wink Hotel, and at the time, the beds were alright, but not exactly the cleanest. I hated how everything was an upcharge and it didn't feel like I had the greatest stay here at all. I hope to see that IHG has improved since then and may return now that they have rebranded.

My experience at the Yours Truly DC Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. Its proximity to Dupont Circle made it incredibly convenient, with a plethora of shops and restaurants just steps away. The food and bar were delightful, offering a diverse menu and a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel itself exuded modern elegance, with spacious and well-designed rooms that provided a peaceful retreat. Overall, the Yours Truly DC Hotel is a true gem, combining an excellent location with exceptional dining and a stylish ambiance, making it a top choice for my future visits to the area.

We stayed here for New Year’s 2024, specially because they’re pet friendly and we needed a place to bring our puppy dog with us. Vignette is a beautiful hotel, with an excellent customer service and facilities. The location is great also.
They have and onsite restaurant call Mercy Me where we had our New Year’s Eve dinner. It was absolute delicious, I think it was the best part of our stay.

Totally recommended, particularly if you have pets.

Nice hotel design, but if you want to have breakfast in a quiet place, not with loud nightclub music, look for another accommodation.

Amazing Hotel! First time in DC and this is such a cool place. Awesome vibe! Great food and ambiance. The manager Daria is clearly involved as she quickly fixed my key issue and brought us a bottle of Champagne for our anniversary. 5 stars +

One of the services this hotel offers is racial profiling. My partner recently went to DC to spend some time with his brother in the Navy before their deployment. While staying at this hotel, he made the mistake of using the gym while being large, tattooed, and Latino. Security walked in, grabbed him by the shoulder, pulled out his earbuds, and asked loudly if he spoke English. They then demanded to see his ID without explanation. He is a lab scientist at a major hospital in our home state, respected by his colleagues and all who know him. Here he was treated as if he was a threat who didn’t belong. Would it have helped if he wore his lab coat and goggles? When he told the front desk what happened, they gave him a drink voucher. Stay classy.

Its a nice hotel the only problem is they charge way too much for valet. I was charged 60 plus a some kind of destination charge of 25 for only one night which is ridiculous. I also paid for a city view and only got a view of the back of buildings.

Had a confusion (which they later determined as being their problem) with my paying with points instead of cash. The staff was rude and made me pay, and now they don't want to assume their responsibility and they've not helped at all. Stay away from here.

This hotel is so cute! The design the decor the concept…CUTE. The service is amazing. Kudos to Kevin and Luvesh for making me feel welcomed. The room is cute! The slippers cute. The rooms are clean. There are many good places to take cute pictures. I am so happy I booked here. Oh and the bagel shop in the lobby is a good time as well. I will definitely be back.

Wow. Hip, fun, friendly all around. Stayed here for a weekend with the family while visiting my GWU child. Lobby, front desk & adjacent bar/restaurant are both inviting yet hip. Had dessert after a show -our server Jamie was sooo nice!
10 minute walk from Foggy Bottom metro; was off our Dulles plane & @ the front desk in 2 hours.
Front desk staff went out of their way to get me a Sunday Washington Post, and included the Saturday as well.
Rooms mix a postmodern/minimalist vibe and comfy/cozy decore.
Will definitely be back!

Hotel is very appealing with hip vibes. Reception is very professional and welcoming. Definitely return here when visit DC

Yours Truly DC was very cozy and their staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The location was incredibly convenient and having the "Call Your Mother" restaurant connected to the lobby was an added bonus. The room was great

Everyone was so friendly and nice especially the front desk associates. Continental breakfast was good. We dined in at Mercy Me and loved the service, drinks and food. The room was clean. Pillows and bed were comfy. We requested a crib and they had it ready for us. They also have highchair for kids. Would be back here again.

I loved this hotel.

We stayed there as part of an IHG points reward, and it was worth it.

Parking - Valet only, its 65/night but it's typical for this area of DC

The hotel entrance experience - clean, very modern, and well kept

Staff - the staff was very nice, always helpful, their uniforms/outfits made for a great representation of the hotel. On this alone I would say this hotel is worth it.

Breakfast - it was included in our stay and it was high end buffet style. I enjoyed the chill vibe and the fact that the staff was just hands off unless you needed help. I really enjoyed the food.

Hotel restaurant - the restaurant is called Mercy me. It's a little pricey, but overall worth it. The food has smaller portions, but it tasted amazing. My only ding for the restaurant is that the seating was kinda weird and in some cases uncomfortable. It did make it a nice vibe, but the seating was more living room/lounge style.

The room - I upgraded to a 1 bd suite, and I loved it. Everything was high quality, the towels were soft, the bed was perfect, the view was amazing.

Overall I would highly recommend. I loved my stay here.

As a Diamond Elite member, I travel and stay at a lot of IHG properties. I would like to give more stars for Rooms and Service, but I've noticed that maintenance has started to decline in some areas (our room was flooded by the ice machine on 7th floor over-running and then the room on the 8th floor had a broken shade) and we find that service can be delayed - phoning down to the desk "0" for help with the flooding kept going unanswered after repeated calls. The location is excellent but it could be better matched with improved service and maintenance

Arrived to at the Hotel to be Greeted by Andy on reception.
Andy was so pleasant and accommodating. The staff helped make our 50th birthday stay fantastic.
I would highly recommend this Hotel to all of my friends or family.
