Pretty decent lunch-spot on Main St. Pretty good menu selection all-around. Definitely will go back and try other things.

Andy the server was great. The food leaves alot to be desired. Had the escargot had no taste and was dried out. The garlic sprimp didn't even have a hint of garlic. Basically no taste either. The seafood pizza was just ok. Differently need to step up thier game. It's one and done for us.

Very helpful and friendly staff even if it's not their table. I live in town and highly recommend.

A fantastic place for a beer and some great food. The bartenders are exceptionally friendly and the feel of the place is like no other. It has that genuine Pub feel and I'm digging it. I think you will too. I like my Pepperoni Pizza Well Done, BTW. Enjoy!

Good food but the bathrooms are so gross. Toilet didn’t flush, mold around the sink and just overall GROSS.

Everything you could want from a Mediterranean restaurant. Except a name that tells you that, but that's probably because they have som many other options as well! It's Still Hot, is my go to craft cocktail here!

We ordered a variety of shareables. They were all very tasty - loved the kefta, the baba ganoush, the zucchini beignets, the spanokopita and the ceviche. Sliders were good too, but we were full.

Visiting from Riverview. First time in today and everything was fabulous. From the service, to the atmosphere, to the food, it was all excellent. We will be coming back again soon.

We tried Salmon grill and chicken grill. It was good but not great. Price was okay. I don't recommend Baba ganoush.

A nice place in downtown Sarasota. When you first enter the smell of wood fired oven permeating the place makes for a very nice welcome. The lighting is nice and the decor warm. They have a full bar and an ok list of wines.
My favorite appetizer is the Spanakopita. But the octopus is also good and so are the hummus and babaganous. The lamb shank is nice as a big main. The Greek salad and the fatoush ara also among my favorites. The service is nice and the price reasonable. A good option for Sarasota, where everything has become so expensive

There's no shortage of restaurants on Sarasota's Main Street, and this one ranks right up there near the top of the list. It has a wonderful vibe, service is quick and friendly, and the food is heavenly. I had the Mushroom Risotto, and it was about as good as I've had it anywhere. My wife ordered the Spanakopita with a Tzatziki chaser, and it was fabulous, served up in a piping hot Lodge pan, flaky, and delicious. Don't miss this.

We visited 1592 today and had a great dinner.we loved all three courses.our waiter Eduardo was very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. He even provided a dessert to my husband, since it was his 65th birthday.thanks so much.the German Lady

We have dined at 1592 since they opened. This restaurant is a welcome addition to Sarasota. Reasonably priced, well prepared food and excellent professional service. We had a very nice meal recently (August 15) that was highlighted by great service by Eduardo H.

Cannot speak highly enough of 1592. Great food, cracking ambience and above all amazing staff. Highly recommend having lamb and the moussaka. Special shout out to Katie, the most fantastic and kind server you could ask for. Been twice on our vacation.

Super place! Mediterranean cuisine at its best. Very good food, very good service. Good location. Reservation strongly suggested.
