2020 Family Vision Care, Bradenton FL

My daughter got a speck of metal in her eye while we were here in the area on vacation. We were able to get a same-day appointment with Dr. Vawter. She was very kind and patient and even contacted us later that day to check on my daughter. The office staff was wonderful as well. We highly recommend Dr. Vawter and her team.

After waiting 1 hour 45 minutes I finally saw the doctor. It would have been okay but she didn't even know my eyes weren't dilated yet so instead of taking the time she just rushed it. During my prescription check I could barely see through the glass because it was smudged or foggy. I felt it was a complete waste of money and no care was taken to assure my vision was correct. Since then I've had issues seeing correctly and now I'll need to go to a different doctor. Dr Chlebina was great but i'm sorry to say he has retired and the new Dr was terrible. Maybe it was just a bad day for her but that doesn't help my vision or health.

This was my first visit with Dr. Vawter and I was very impressed. She reminded me of Dr. Chlebina, but obviously female and much younger. Very professional but bubbly and chatty as well. Dr. Chlebina could not have made a better choice!
