7tyone Restaurant & Coffee Bar, Miami Beach FL

I used to LOVE this place. Like come here 2-4 times a week love this place. At first, I’d excuse the slow service because the food and people are so kind, but there’s something to be said about consistently waiting 30 minutes for an iced coffee. It’s unacceptable. So much so that I started exclusively ordering for pickup through Uber eats (still amazing food, less headache one would think), only for their poor work ethic and management to seep through there. Why is it that when I get a notification that says my food is ready for pickup they’re literally MAKING IT AS I WALK IN AND STILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER THIRTY MINUTES IN THE STORE. JUST DONT MARK IT AS READY IN THE APP AND LET ME KNOW WHEN ITS ACTUALLY READY! Then i go and stand in this crowded restaurant waiting for my food to be made when I quite literally ordered through Uber to avoid the ordeal. This happens every. Single. Time. It’s just unacceptable. It’s a shame because I LOVE THE FOOD SO MUCH and as a Venezuelan I want to support a local Venezuelan business but I cannot justify coming here anymore with the way they treat their customers. This was the last straw for me and I have given this place a million tries.

It is a nice place. Attention and services was really good. And food was pretty decent. They have good options and really quite to take a coffee at Mornings. Empanada mechado con queso gouda is one of my favorites.

First time trying out this new spot and I was pleased with the level of customer service and quality of their food. Flavor was exquisite and their drinks are natural and tasty. Got the passion fruit and soursop drinks and they did not disappoint.definitely recommend if you’re in Miami and I will be visiting again on my next vacation.

Word of warning: DO NOT park in the back or you will be towed. Even if you pay. The parking situation behind the strip of places is very tenuous. Must park all the way on the left hand side or on the street. Went to have brunch. Very fair prices (11-15 for plates, 6ish for empanadas etc). My empanada Full Equipo was freshly fried and delicious. Venezuelan breakfast (12.99) also fresh and tasty. The service isn’t the quickest but I don’t mind waiting because everything is fresh.

I decided to give 7tyone a try since I saw consistent good reviews, unlike a similar place 2 doors down. Once seated, the waiter that took the order and other waiters that brought the food were pleasant. The food was tasty and coffee was really good and served nicely in quality plates and coffee mugs. The place is small and can’t accommodate a large party except outside where they have a long table. I was only accompanied by another person. The 2 negative things about our experience were: that upon arrival no one greeted us, we didn’t know if we should order by the register or seat ourselves anywhere available or if we had to wait to be seated. A waiter was talking with 2 other people close to the register but wasn’t sure if they were customers or other waiters so we proceeded to grab a menu by the register and sat at a table. And second thing is the flies, I’m not sure why such a small place needs the door to remain open if most of their customers are seating inside, maybe if they close the door there would not be as many flies. We covered our drinks with napkins while eating for this reason.

Don’t look at any other place, this is the best Venezuelan restaurant in Miami. I promise! Every single plate is delicious, I have been coming here with my boyfriend since 2017 and they only get better. Thank you for such a quality food and service. Attention to details and extra care.

Service is very poor, take forever to bring the food, the excuse.they cook everything at the moment of the order. I dont know what to thibk about thay since they take around 45min to give you a coffee and almost an hour for an empanada. The situation is seriously ridiculous since the servers just take your order and leave you waiting all that time without any updates. My advice: don't go or even order from delivery services if you are hungry. And be careful with your drinks they are serving on dirty cups

They charged amounts that were not the ones in the menu. Then they do not give you a ticket to see what you are paying, when you sign the charge of the credit card they give you to add tips and after that they put more than 18% gratuity… the food is good but they overcharged and abuse customers’ trust. Not a trustworthy business

First time here. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The service was so fast that they added extra stuff (that we did not order) to my check and charged an included tip of 18% under the wrong amount. I added an extra 5% tip because they were nice. When the gentleman was taking my payment he charged my card and proceeded to just walk away really fast. Never got a receipt, so I didn't know I was overcharged.
I had to leave, so my mom called me saying they overcharged me. They gave her the cash, but never adjusted the included tip.
The food was good, but it's a shame the whole money mix-up happened. Got disappointed and cheated.

Delicious food, slow service. Tried out a cachapa, arepa, a venezuelan cinnamon roll, jugo de lulo, and an espresso. Only thing we didn’t like was the venezuelan cinnamon roll - other than that everything was delicious. Service is slow and prices are high.

This place is our GO TO for honestly any meal. If you dine in, the wait may be long since it’s a small restaurant. I PROMISE it’s worth the wait! Be patient:) good food takes time
Take out is also superb
They’ve never let us down and we order something new every time! Coffee is delicious, better than most coffee shops we’ve been to.

Highly recommend this hidden gem. There’s usually always parking too, which is a plus in Miami!

Oh and last thing, portions are HUGE! Expect leftovers
