A Natural Farm reviews
15Incredible establishment and outgoing kind owners. Had a splendid time looking through their genetic inventory and sitting at their interesting seminars. They throw the best horticulture, permaculture, and organic related fairs. A great place.
Excellent fruit tree and plant nursery with a wide variety. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. This is a top tier nursery. Highly recommend.
Stopped by to check out olive trees. They had a huge selection of citrus and edible plants as well. Everything was well marked. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Will go back for more plants as soon as we figure out where to put them.
I just love this place! For me this is the most beautiful farm in the area with the most beautiful people! I drive 1.5h to get there to buy my trees and plants. Well worth it!
This place is absolutely AMAZING! Exceeded all of our expectations, they have a huge selection of fruits and vegetables and their customer service went above and beyond helping us. The owner Sonia walked us all around giving us so much information about starting our garden and we learned so much! We are so grateful, thank you so so much again!
Purchased ten tropical fruit trees and two fertilizers on 7/18/23. Best place to buy plants from, Bryan was knowledgeable and nice. We definitely will go back.
I should have taken a photo of how wonderfully they arrived. You folks truly love your plants. Needless to say, Natural Farms delivered plants far beyond my expectations.
I was also appreciative of their botanical knowledge as their rainbow assortment of turmeric plants will be used within our school's gardening project/science class.
Super recommend these folks!
Great visit, repeat customer for sure.
I purchased a tree from them at my county plant and nursery day in the city. Thankful to save the plant label or placard that came on it. Have been struggling a little, reached out to them and they were very helpful to aide me in cleaning up the tree for its health.
Visited the Farm/nursery directly and met one of the owners who was more than helpful in assisting me with some varieties of spinach plants for my garden. She was able to assist in finding some great pots to purchase, but also in how to propagate the cuttings for new plants.
While its a bit of a distance for me, I will surely be returning for more plants or trees in the future as needed.
Almost perfect but one BIG problem with their cold hardy avocados. Their high cold hardiness avocados are grafted onto a moderately cold hardiness root stock. They say a mature tree will have the listed cold hardiness of the scion but I don't believe that (it goes against the principles of cold hardiness grafting). I bought a 7 gallon "Fantastic" avocado tree, it grew a lot during the warm season, it was in a protected microclimate and I built a greenhouse around it but 17 degree temps killed it. I would have been fine with that but then I learned about the rootstock they used. So why a 4 star review? They ship healthy plants, they ship quickly, arrive quickly and are well packed. Also they sent me a free 3 gallon "Fantastic" avocado when I complained. Many nurseries would have done nothing; a nursery that makes an attempt to meet the buyer at least half way when they have a legitimate complaint is a good nursery. I'm going to baby the new tree even more but I doubt the cold hardiness.
I have family living near to A Natural Farm, I have not visited the Farm itself. For what it is worth, the Farm has always been well taken care of. It is clean, has many plants that look beautiful and very healthy. I DO know they have fruit bearing trees and plants. Some that I haven't seen advertised any where else. I feel very confident in saying that if you are looking for a healthy, clean plant shopping experience it would definitely be worth a trip to A Natural Farm to check it out. Plus Howie-in-the-Hills, the nearby town on the shores of Little Lake Harris in Lake County, is as quaint and picturesque a small Florida town as one could ever hope for in a weekend trip just for fun.
Since my last review I have noticed an increase in traffic at this farm. It is still very well cared for, and I wouldn't change my opinion in the least.
I really enjoyed going to the farm. They have a very large selection of trees and plants. The customers service is great. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. I bought a beautiful Lychee tree. I will come back and get more trees from them in the future. Thank you for all the help picking my tree.
It's not rocket science

Ask for Luke, he'll take care of you
A nice size nursery with a wide and interesting variety of plants. Will definitely be repeat customer.
If you want quality edibles or soil, this is the best nursery for miles. They provide a large selection of organics and always willing to educate you on the required care or variety differences. I’ve learned so much from their staff and enjoy seeing their friendly faces while I frequent the nursery. The owners take pride in their quality and repot their trees so they don’t get root bound.
Great family owned farm with lots of variety and healthy fruit trees! They have great advice you won't find at a box store.
