A Slice of Paradise, Summerland Key FL

We’ve picked up pizza here several times since we moved down last summer. It’s typically a hit or miss. Sometimes they answer the phone, sometimes they don’t. But the last time I called in a pizza the gentleman answering the phone was very short with me. They’ve often given a local discount, so even though I was picking up, I gave him my address to verify for the discount. He was super rude and said they only give discounts on certain days of the week and never on the weekends. Then told me they were busy and his ovens were full so I needed to be there in 30 minutes.
When I arrived at the window, he and the other lady (I’m assuming his wife?) seemed annoyed about everything, including being busy. They were complaining about other customers calling and one customer that asked to change their order.
I just felt it was a letdown and very unprofessional. As with several places in the Keys, these guys made me feel like I should be happy they are making my pizza, instead of being appreciative of their customers. Won’t be back- I’ll drive all the way to Marathon instead.

Good food. Easy online ordering. Picking it up was a little rough.
The woman couldn’t immediately see my order and seemed dismissive even after showing her the order text. Since I had already paid and had (regrettably) added a tip, I had to be persistent or no food.
Advice: skip the online ordering and call instead. Pay cash and fill the tip jar if good service is rendered.

This is an amazing room. We really enjoyed our stay there. Very close to the beach. Lots of fun things to do.

Our first time trying this pizza and it was perfect! Our family of 4 finished two large pizzas and I think we could’ve kept going. My picky toddler even loved it!

We had a veggie pizza. It was amazing. View was spectacular behind. Calm place. Anyone visiting key west and hungry after visiting Bahia handa, this is a place to be.

We just got down here to the Keys, it was late 7: 30ish and we just needed to eat. Found this place and it was awesome great food and the staff was very nice!

It felt like pizza night, everyone needs a pizza night.

From Cudjoe there’s a few choices just north, Summerland, Big Pine or No Name. We went Summerland naturally, pick up, gotta get it home warm.

Slice of Paradise. The call was made, they sounded busy but quick to get back to the phone. That’s nice, hate holding for a simple order.

We went hand tossed cheese and thin crust cheese. 20 minutes. Price seemed reasonable. Nice.

Got there and was surprised at the back seating area. Very nice, water view, canal. Under the trees, ambiance lighting and picnic tables. I’d imagine it’s nicely shaded.

Pizza was ready, zoom, home. The reveal, looks good and cheesy. Both of em. The difference in crust was obvious.

I went hand tossed, the wife thin. Very good, both of them. Nice cheese taste, some mozzarella pull too. The crust, yup, no flop. No flop! I took one bite and knew, good.

Great pizza. I ordered 10” Greek well done. I wish they made an 8” cause I ate the whole thing! Excellent crust. Great flavor. We are so lucky to have this pizza in our neighborhood.

Great food. Great crust. Great people. Great service. They have vegan cheese, which is so rare for pizza places down here, and very thoughtful about folks who are vegan or lactose intolerant. Folks complain about inconsistencies, but good hand tossed pizza with great crust, is inconsistent by nature. They are also very fast, even when they are slammed. Very good hand tossed pizza! They should have more stars.

Excellent experience, ordering pizza for pickup. Bought pizzas for a group, so kept it simply, cheese. The crust has a deliciously yeasty complexity. The sauce is well balanced, and cheese was flavorful, well cooked, and bubbly. I was really proud to serve such beautiful and delicious pizza. Highly recommend! Thank you, Paradice.

I avoided this place simply for its 3.8 rating.
But what in the world? ! Are these locals reviewing? Are they realists?
This is by far the best pizza local to this area in the keys. The best option for big pine, cudjoe key, Summerland, so forth. I will not compare it to key west, because yes there’s better.
But we received a cheesy, delicious, great pie. 5 stars from me (I’ve seen several 4+ star spots around here that I’d easily strip a star from to give to this spot).
Bravo! Will be coming back

Fresh toppings with a great tasting sauce and crispy crust. The veggie pizza was delicious! They also have plenty of vegan options. Friendly staff and nice scenic outside seating. Will definitely be stopping in again!

We ordered two 12" thin crust pizzas, a bbq chicken and a meat lovers both were phenomenal perfect crust and a huge amount of toppings. We also ordered Korean bbq wings and a dr.pepper the wings were great as well spicy but a subtle sweetness they may have a wait time but it's worth every minute to wait!

We arrived right before close and ordered two pizzas.

I could tell the employees wanted to go hone but they whipped up two amazing pizzas.

The deep dish was amazing.

Great cheese, fresh topping and sweet sauce.

I've had negative experiences in the past, but tonight's pizza was absolutely amazing. When I called, I was quite slow on what I wanted to order, the girl on the phone was super patient and understanding with me. Then, when I went to pick it up there was only one person cooking. This pizza was AMAZING! WwowW. I called back to praise how well she made my pizza, her name is Nicole; and she is awesome. I will be ordering again soon thank you so much!

Wont ever be buying from this place again. I’ve tried twice for a buffalo chicken pizza n they just can’t seem to figure it out. Don’t go putting bleu cheese on pizza when we don’t ask for it that’s disgusting. When I called to complain, maybe try to get my money back, cause no one in the house even wanted it, I was told “just throw it away, it’s fine. ” Worst pizza place in Monroe county all around hands down and wickedly overpriced.
