Worst place to sell your firearms will give you little to nothing for your firearm. Also will tell you one price and pay you a less amount then what was offered will write you a check and not give you cash. 0 stars will not shop here ever again.

I dropped my shotgun off back in December of 2021 for repair. 7 months later it's still not fixed. Will never go there again. Don't waste your time.

First time in. Nice shop, the guys were friendly enough. Selection was OK, and the museum was cool. They had ammo, so that’s a plus, these days. I live down the street, so it’s convenient enough.

I’ve been looking for spam cans of M2 Ball, which is becoming scarce and very expensive. I asked the gentleman, who I assume to be the owner, if they ever get any M2. He says “Oh yeah, look around, we’ve got tons of ball ammo. ” I seemed like he didn’t hear, or wasn’t paying attention and I start to explain that I need M2 ball for a Garand, and he walks away while I’m in mid sentence. If he did have some, I was prepared to buy a lot of it, but I don’t think I’ll try again.

Your mileage may vary!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We went in and purchased a safe for one price. We received a delivery a week later with a much lower end safe. Had to call AW to let them know the company did not deliver the right safe. Delivery company never contacted them. Not even 2 days after the wrong delivery and the delivery company said they would handle it. Then for over a week I had to continue to follow up with AW because they never let me know what was going on with the correct safe. I kept being told they had to wait to hear from the delivery company. I was told by the delivery company and an employee at AW they would make it right and I mentioned the price and they said no they would not charge more because it was their mistake. Called again and left a message and asked for a call back. I was very patient each time I called. Then I get a call back from the manager to tell me the wrong sticker was on the safe and the cost would be $600 more! Then he wants to act surprised when I was frustrated. What a joke and I should have listened to the negative reviews about customer service.
Not a single time did I hear an apology. It was so sorry about your luck. I would save your time, money and go somewhere else.

I have literally been shopping at Peterson's since I was a child. When I was a kid they had a museum on one end that showed the history of gun making and gun smithing. The other end was filled with camping gear and civil war Era stuff. They used to have a case with WWII Era ribbons, metals and patches. Over the years it has evolved to have laser sights, gun safes, etc. But just walking in the doors brings back nostalgia. Bought my glock there a couple months back with the same knowledgeable service as when I bought a shotgun back in the 80s. Expect a laid back no pressure attitude when you enter, but if you ask a question they will have the answer.

Good people, they know their stuff! Vintage arms and modern hand guns, rifles, and shot guns plus all kinds of accessories

I called asking to put sights on my gun the man on the phone laughed that I needed him to do so, then when I asked if he would charge me for doing it he laughed again and told me no. Once I got there the man was rude and did put my sights on but tried to charge me 40 for doing it and I told him they were my own sights I brought with me and then with an attitude told me well it'll be 20 for me doing it then when he told me on the phone it wouldn't be no charge. And now my gun has scratches all over it like they just put it in a vice without a cloth to cover it and beat on it. I can also see marks on the side of my sights where they beat it with a chisel. This isn't the first time with the rude errogant behavior I will never use this shop again.

This is my favorite gun shop. The guys are all super friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to find the gun I wanted and get top notch service. The prices are good. Not sure why some of these reviews say otherwise. They also have better stock than the other four gun shops I went to before this one.

Grossly overpriced gun shop, service is absolutely terrible, employees are rude and poke fun at you if you're not a gun nerd and employs a guy that's been arrested for domestic violence not once but twice.

I was on a vacation driving through. I did not have time to stop in but decided to call them.
I called but did not receive a return call. I was looking for a particular hunting rifle. 45-70
Will take my business elsewhere

Brought a South American friend here. Our friend learned a lot about guns. Our friend said, "This was the first time in my life that I didn't feel scared being around guns. " Sometimes people get an inaccurate perception about firearms and the USA. Sometimes people have a poor perception of firearms from where they live too. It's great that the people here want to have conversations and explain how things work.

Bad attitude from a middle aged bald guy, the young man was very good. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I like going to Petersons, looking through the museum, seeing what's in stock. I haven't priced out components, so will not address pricing. I have taken the Concealed Carry course there. It was the pits. While it may technically qualify you to get your license, you are not trained at all. The price is $65.00, which is reasonable, except that you pay that to be bombarded with a 40+ min.insurance pitch. More time was spent pushing the insurance than it was on the class. I like the store, but would not recommend going through the concealed carry class.
