Tes helped out tremendously, and went above and beyond. Brought the bike in for a chain repair and she fixed the grips, stem, and filled the tires no extra charge. Got the bike back within a day as well. Kindness like that creates life long customers! Thank you.

I am a newbie at the bicycling universe. I looked in many places only to be led here through an ad. Wonderful location, shop, quite a few variety to select from.

While most places/shops seemed like they were busy and did not want to engage in educating me as a new to bicycle world, but at this shop, they did pretty well.

Tess was educating and patient, while she was not pushy for sales, she delievered the information, anticipating my beginner status. It helped me make the purchase confidently. Post purchase conversation with Tess, was also handled well, and I felt that I got a wonderful experience. Thank You Tess.

This place is pro. I’ve been in many times even for the smallest things and the service is always great. Very knowledgeable on the bikes. Great selection of everything, joyful staff and good prices. Can’t miss.

Appreciate the experts here and, almost more importantly, the relaxed atmosphere. This is not one of those pushy bike stores.

My husband and I were looking for 2 good bikes as we have just retired and are looking forward to enjoying some recreational trail riding. After stopping at A1A Cycle Works we found the perfect bikes to fit our needs. Tess was so knowledgeable and helpful in the selection process. She gave us some great ideas for local trails to try. We returned to the shop 2 days later to purchase water bottle holders for our bikes and Tess even remembered us by name. If you are looking for a knowledgeable staff who takes the time to really get to know the needs of their customers then A1A Cycle Works is the bike shop for you!

We have been looking for 2 new bikes for our boys who have out grown there current rides! They treated us fair and were open in the process of pricing our trade in bikes. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Even told us about good local trails to ride. We have been to other bike shops in the area and by far this place has the best customer service.

Best bike shop in St Augustine for sure. Very friendly and knowledgeable crew. They have a great selection of MTB, road and gravel bikes. The shop is an authorized dealer with so many top of the line brands: Cannondale, Giant, Bianchi, Salsa, Kona, Rocky Mountain, Marin, Jamis, Surly!

Great service, reasonable prices! This is the bike shop to go to in STA. We love supporting other local businesses. We recently lost everything in a house fire and needed to get new bikes for the whole family. We bought five Retrospec bicycles from A1A cycle works and Jeff was so helpful, helping us all to pick the right bikes for us and our 3 sons. My family and I all left happy riding off with our new bicycles.

This is one of the best bike stores I've been to!
Great range of bikes and accessories.
I brought in a 30 year old Trek 1100 that needed new tyres.
After talking with the team there (Dave and Jeff?) they showed me what they recommended.
Great prices, they put the tyres on for me and I even got a mirror for my drop bars.
Will I go back?

They looked after me and my bike (I rode 6 miles to get to the store) and it was some of if not the best experience I've had at a bike store.

Staff was able to repair and get functioning a 1993 Kestel’s gears that had not operated for 12 years and are simply the best at bar wraps, period!

Needed an emergency repair while passing through. Incredibly helpful. Gave us a good lunch spot recommrndation too!

Rode my bike to the shop to ask about a derailer adjustment. Guy pointed to other bikes he had to work on and said “we won’t look at it for a week or more. ” I said can I make an appointment or get on a list and bring it back next week? He said nope. Who wants to leave their bike for a week on vacation if it’s not completely unusable? A1A Cycle, is this is your company policy? I know a simple repair isn’t a big revenue generator, but we have rented multiple bikes here in the past and have purchased several bike accessories. Not any more. That guy had no sense of customer service and wanted to make sure we knew how busy he was. We will spend our money somewhere else.

Always great, and always helpful and just the best! Magic always happens here, whether it’s getting an awesome kickstand for my bike, or getting the right lights, or water bottle holders, or getting a new tire, it doesn’t matter, it’s always great and Jeff, Dave, and everybody else there is always super. Thank You! I just bought a Fat Tire Bike and it’s really amazing. Can’t wait to get out there on it!
