AAA St. Petersburg

I've been with AAA for 27 years, and I pay premium with RV/trailer service and only needed help twice since being a member. AAA is terrible at service. It appears that they choose to pay the least, so in a city (N Lauderdale) with many towing companies, why does it take 3 hours to get a tow? They finally sent a tow truck from Hialeah. This will be my last year with them, I had plenty of time to search for the best roadside service.

My driver was Nick very knowledgeable very professional very customer service or anything I appreciated his patience and focus to go the extra mile to try and remove my anti theft lug nut he couldn't get it done but did tow me tire Kingdom where they got all of them off.

Since they have moved their offices from DTSP, the staff seems to be a lot less caring about us the members that keep the doors open! I've been there 3 times had 3 different associates and left feeling the same way each time, calling their customer service phone # is even more frustrating!

I don't know how this company was able to hire so many unqualified and terrible staff. AAA stopped selling any car insurance except theirs, but neglected to tell customers and left me in a pinch. If it wasn't for my old company notifying me I wouldn't have known

Red Mesa does an delicious take on traditional Mexican food. Beautiful courtyard with ponds with running water adds a nice touch to a relaxing meal. This place has many seating options with little nooks to sit and enjoy one of their specialty drinks. You must try. We will be back.

Needed an international driver’s license so I came to AAA. Process was super easy - staff was very efficient.

I LOVE this place! Went in to see them this morning to find out about getting a last minute International Driver’s Permit. I had just found out that I needed one! Such wonderful service from everyone there! I was in and out in 20 minutes with my IDP!

Horrible experience, needed battery jump, called AAA @ 5.30 nobody showed up till 7;30 waited in Pinellas Florida in hot sun, finally got jump from a stranger. Do not like on the phone registration for auto to get jump start.no live person. Called this morning, was put on hold for complain, unable to reach supervisor.and just renewed my membership for over 45 yrs.very bad.

They don’t usually go out of their way to be helpful or friendly. Any time I stop in the office for assistance. Nobody is rude, but nobody is very exuberant or happy to see me when I walk through the door. Since to membership program, you think that that would be something that you would get similar to how I get greeted at the gym. At least they hey hello there how are you?

The lady in the office was great. The lady at the main office was kind of irritating she was saying things that didn't apply to the issue. My membership was paid on time but my daughter's wasn't. Which I pay for. I called three or four times to get answers and no one could help. Everything was suppose to be on auto pay. I have been a member since 1997. Can't believe it was such an issue.

This is not a review of this location of AAA, it's on the entire company.

Don't waste your money paying for even the basic plan! We have had our membership for 7 years, only called for help 2 times. A couple days ago, our car broke down and we were told someone would be there to tow us in an hour. After almost FIVE (5) hours and about 10 phone calls, a tow truck arrived. Every time we called, they said "they'll be there in about an hour".

Our "advocate" that you speak with is supposed to identify a tow truck available close to your location. They did not do that. I spoke with a supervisor who PROMISED someone would arrive within 30 minutes; that didn't happen.

My minimal experience has proven they are useless. I could have hired a local towing company and been home in a shorter amount of time. I tried to call the company to speak with someone about this horrible experience. I got the message that I would have to hold for about 10 minutes (translation: "you'll be on hold for an hour").

Terrible customer service. Terrible experience. Never again.

Augy in B truck was incredibly professional and helpful during this tow. Showed true compassion to the situation and remained friendly and professional while safely moving my vehicle.
I work in a complicated complex to navigate and was able to locate my vehicle and myself with no issues, conducted a safe and timely pickup while remaining friendly and focused on the job. He offered advice and spoke very highly of his profession and the company he works for. If you're being assisted with roadside pickup or vehicle issues by AAA and he is the driver, you're in good hands.

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but my experience at the St. Pete location was beyond disappointing. The customer service received upon walking in was abrupt, rude, and quite embarrassing - they made it very clear that they have no intentions of helping customers or even listening to their requests, they didn’t even let me speak before saying “we closed the safe and I’m not opening it for you. Unless someone else here wants to do it for you, I’m not” and then the other woman behind the counter said “yeah no I’m not doing that. ” They never asked what I needed, not to mention it was still within their business hours? And to make it clear that they could open the safe but wouldn’t/weren’t willing to right in front of me was disappointing. Would make a conscious effort to not get services at this location.

Disappointed, to be truly honest…wanted monthly policy for 6 months, was incorrectly quoted for a yr.

AAA is brutal, do not waste your time! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR A SERVICE THEY HAVE ZERO MEANS TO PROVIDE. LIKE THE REST OF THE USA, CORPORATE AT ITS UGLIEST. BRUTAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, BRUTAL WAIT TIMES, AWFUL OPERATORS AND LIARS! (St. Petersburg, Florida)

Contacted them twice now and both time George was useless. I had to go to another location!
