I saw both Dr. Abdoney and Dr. McEntire and both are very professional and welcoming. I love the staff at the office and am so glad that I decided to be a patient here. Everyone is very helpful and they make you feel as if you are part of the family:). There is always a wonderful and positive atmosphere, which shows that they all really care about their patients and what they do. I highly recommend to at least have a consult with Abdoney Orthodontics, you'll love it! They care about you and not about selling you products as most orthodontics try to do. Payment plans are available to help work with you on any costs. Just an overall great place!

I transferred from VA to FL. I was looking for an orthodontist. They welcomed me with open arms. Not only they are kind, but also were able to help me with my transfer. They are awesome!

They are great on the front end, offering options and were great about taking over supervision of the last few trays my Invisalign program started by another dishonest dentist (Kirksey). So when teeth were aligned, cause for celebration? Not so fast.because once on the Abdoney “post-Invisalign program” of recommended permanent retainers and night retainers (faithfully worn), my bite began to distort, teeth moved and problems began. Last straw was when one of my permanent retainers started to poke my tongue and it was cut and bleeding. I called the office for help but was put off for THREE WEEKS waiting (despite repeated calls) for someone to help me! Even though I had money on account with the practice, it took three weeks for some resolution. Back to Abdoney I went, only to be told “sorry, we finished your Invisalign, these issues are your problem. You are probably a tongue-thruster (no) or have TMJ (also no). We suggest getting into braces, because invisalign is just not effective. ” Really? After all this time and money they wanted me to “start over” with braces. At substantial cost. I was also told “we just don’t do that much Invisalign because it’s not effective, ” so how do they explain the brand new 10 foot Invisalign sign in the parking lot? And the plaque in the office that congratulates them on being “the top 1% of Invisalign providers in the Tampa Bay Area? ” Then they threw a former orthodontist under the bus who had worked in the practice saying he was responsible and I should go see him. They couldn’t have been ruder as they shoved me out the back door (they did refund my $500 “lifetime retainer club” money). They smile to get you in, recommendations change and stories are told that don’t add up. No one takes responsibility when things go wrong then they cut you loose with no safety net. Abdoney himself told me he wasn’t going to make me a replacement retainer (mine was broken) because I should just “wear the set of Invisalign trays you found in your drawer if you can get them on your teeth at this point and use those. ” Buyer beware.
