Once again Mr. Gordon Beck has given us superb service. This is the second time we have used his services and once again we were not only impressed, but exceptionally pleased. If you need home inspection on a newly built home, older home or investment property, Above & Beyond is the company. We cannot say enough excellent things about Mr. Beck's service.

I could not be more pleased with Above and Beyond home inspections…I received a very thorough new construction inspection from boots on the roof to hands in the dirt…. I had gone over this new home with a “microscope” and Gordon still found many defects, thankfully mostly minor but still present nonetheless.his fee is reasonable, his work is meticulous and you’ll get a homeowner education to boot.call him, you’re welcome

Gordon is a great home inspector. I highly recommend he is your first call in our area of Florida. He really takes his time to make sure the buyer will be safe in their new home and knows the in's & out's of properties in our region. Gordon goes above and beyond by pointing out items that may eventually become a concern if proper maintenance and care are not exercised so you can feel comfortable with potential costs. And to add to all this, Gordon is super responsive. He took my call on a Sunday after my offer was accepted and diligently worked to get the reports done to secure my insurance for a fairly quick close.

My husband and I hit the jackpot with Above & Beyond! Gordon helped us to not make a huge mistake with the first house we were looking at buying as a temporary home. While we were sure we could have fixed it up, Gordon found hidden major problems. We dodged that bullet.

The second home we chose was a new build in progress. By the time we actually saw some real progress on the home we were biting our nails and stressed by the mess! We called Gordon to do an inspection to make sure the builder was at least making the house structurally sound. He found many issues that we sent the builder to address. The report Gordon furnished helped us get some very large and costly items fixed right away!

We had Gordon come to our final walk thru to verify the rest was done appropriately. Not all the issues were fixed appropriately, as he found, but he gave us great insight in to which were most important in the long run and how to mitigate any further problems in the future.

Even though we are seasoned home owners, Gordon shared a wealth of information on home maintenance, tips and tricks that we did not know. He was responsive to our calls, answered all our questions, was a true professional and very careful conducting his work (inspections). We feel truly happy to have had him on our side.

I joked with him that I didn't want to do a review of him so I didn't have to share! However, if I were out there looking for a true professional inspector who knows his job and likes to help his customers, I would want someone to let me in on the secret. Give him a call. Gordon did exactly as expected. Timely inspection and communication. The inspection report was very thorough. Reasonably priced. If I buy another house I'll deffinitely call Above and Beyond again.
