2Not sure if this Dr.is good or not. Had 1 appointment with him but spent most of the time with his student and then the nurse practitioner. He came in at the end and told me to better manage my stress since that effects IBS, even though I expressed I thought something bigger was at play here. I had put off getting an Endoscopy for a few years due to the pandemic so he went and scheduled one for me, but the day before the procedure I got a call from his office saying my insurance didn't approve it and I'd have to pay out of pocket. I called the insurance and they said the Dr.never submitted a prior authorization, which he should have known to do since I am way under the age of 60, so I had to cancel the procedure. A month later I ended up in the ER with Colitis. The ER could not get ahold of him, and they didn't have a GI on staff so they discharged me and told me to try to connect with him as soon as possible. Couldn't get through to his office so I've decided to look for a new GI outside of the Adventhealth system.
He is not my doctor but he is my friend doctor. I translated for my friend and I can say that he treated her regardless of my friend nationality with respect and decency. Other doctors she visit for the same condition treated her like if she wasn't a human being. For that reason I give him 5 stars and if they ask me for more I would give him more. Thank you doctor Abu. My friend is well thanks to you that put your humanity over money in your picket.
