Academic Alliance in Dermatology, Clearwater FL

I have been going to Minou for quite some time. She takes very good care of me and always very friendly. She takes her time with me and always listens to my concerns. I have to have 2 shots in my stomach every 3 months. She is very gentle with me. And I am very comfortable with her.

Took my 2 year old in for a rash and the Nurse Practitioner, April was amazing! Kind, understanding, and very patient for the procedure. She was extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend seeing her for your dermatology needs.

I am a new patient and just had a seamless experience at this office. Even though I was running late I was taken care of with no lowered standard and felt everything was under control.
Everyone was so friendly and walked me through everything. Gloria, my NP gave me different options for treatment and I felt comfortable asking questions.
What stuck out to me was that everyone (from front desk to practitioner) was involved with interest, and as a patient you weren’t just passed from one person to the next. Thank you!

The staff are very professional and courteous. You are warmly welcomed by Elie at the desk, Minou the medical assistant is very professional courteous and extremely efficient and compassionate. Gloria Lopez ARNP took excellent care of me and told me what she was doing every step of the way. I will recommend this practice to anyone, they truly care.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by two very lovely team members operating the front desk. I don’t recall their names, but each one of them was in fantastic spirit.

For my screening / care I saw Gloria, a Nurse Practitioner, and Minoo (probably didn’t spell her name correctly) a nurse, and both of them were extremely pleasant. I enjoyed my experience, even with having 3 biopsies, simply for the fact that I was treated by very kind and sincere people. This was an incredibly refreshing healthcare experience. Absolutely recommend.

Nurse Rachel, Dr Zook and the entire staff here are AMAZING! Seriously the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had involving a Dr!

Needed to find a dermatologist in the area. So glad I found this place. Everything from signing in to checking out was a breeze. The entire staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. I had the pleasure of having Semhar Mekonen, ARNP, do my body exam. She was very personable and made me feel at ease.
She took her time, probably spent 20 min with me, going over everything and answering any questions I may have had. I would definitely recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and professional. Overall a great experience, actually made my visit to a dermatologist quite stress free.thanks to academy alliance of dermatology in clearwater.

Dr. Zook performed Mohs surgery on my lower lip. Everything went well. The office was very professional.

Helpful and friendly staff, Dr. Zook is very professional, answered every question in detail, was patient and kind. I would not hesitate to recommend this Clinic.

They do not explain your options and will do anything to get you to keep coming in for more appointments and more procedures that should have been handled in previous visits. It absolutely seems like they try to take advantage for an extra penny.

The Doctors are horrible at this place. Even the good once are forced to follow orders of a dumbass! Do not go here. They will take what heals you away from you! And getting ahold of a doctor when you need it, might as well forget about that is you come here. NO STAR
