I came here knowing nothing about nails or how to work with acrylic. Being someone that was part time and only getting to practice 2 days a week I was able to learn so many different techniques. From the best teacher Rafael! And also from the other students. The nail class is a very hyped and humble environment and I definitely recommend

Best hair school in Kissimmee! I’ve been coming here for the past 18 years. I prefer these students over the high priced salons even when I decide to do color! The teachers are amazing! Mrs. Yahaira especially! The teachers are always there to prep and help with each client and the students are very knowledgeable in their field. I’ve never had an issue

I give the skin program a 5 star because they have one amazing teacher 10/10 ms. Ivonne is the best out of best I learned so much and more I’d definitely recommend her to everyone she’s such a beautiful soul and an awesome person! I promise you’ll learn so much and leave feeling so confident about yourself and your work!

My sister did two programs never got lincesed avoid this school. They give you long hours clients you have to stay over your given school hours.

This is being generous. The only thing I can say about the school that was positive is that I receive my license, other than that the entire experience was horrible. When I attended, I was under the assumption of receiving a full kit from dermalogica and instead, I receive a travel kit. As I did my own research discussing different topics from different schools and from a class from dermalogica, I understood how much was taken from us down to the products we should’ve received that we never did. I would never suggest the school for anyone especially if they’re gonna rip you off from a WHOLE Dermalogica kit. And all you get is a travel size.
It was so sad that even the class asked to speak with the owner of the school and the owner refuse to talk to anyone of us.

I attended the nail technology program at ACT. The nail program needs honest upgrades. In my opinion the quality of the products we needed to use for services doesn’t make it easy for beginners to learn efficiently. As they would need to. Luckily I had past experience and I knew what was good and worked for me. The polish is very limited and running out. Color choices for clients are at a bare minimum. We don’t have yellow. The nail kit provided is also very hard to deal with, Cuticle nippers are dull, Acrylic brush is the worst, and the electric nail drill is very low quality. They need to replace the manicure table lights with new ones as they are mostly broken and are unable to move to your benefit. The manicure tables and pedicure chairs are not up to date and they don’t even provide toe separators for the clients. Although everyone was very nice and very fun, no one can truly top my nail instructor, Rafael. Rafael was truly the reason i continued on with my program. And he made every day worth it, he was the mentor i didn’t know i needed. I was very anxious on my first day of school and was scared I wasn’t going to be welcomed or fit in. He showed me otherwise and truly proved me wrong. He believed in me even when i didn’t. I learned soso much even though i knew how to do nails. He made the class like home and made it exciting to go to school. His relationship with our class was like no other. I wish i could put in words the amount of gratitude i have for having rafael as my mentor. I will miss being in a class that was so welcoming with the most supportive teacher they could’ve chosen. I know I am going to do great things with the help of rafael now that i am licensed.if i could do it again the same way, i 100% would in a heartbeat.

The students are amazing. They really take the the time to do your hair and nails! They put attention to detail and really care about what they do! Love it here! First time here and I'm definitely coming back! Faith is incredible! She got my hair looking so good! She really is amazing and I appreciate the work she did in my hair! She's so good! If you want someone to do your hair ask for Faith!

Here's a fully honest review!
I graduated from this school for the Nail Technology program, it was one of the cheapest I found and allowed me the flexibility I needed for my schedule which is a huge plus!
Unfortunately I didn't realize the cheap cost meant there would be things lacking in the Nails salon portion of the school. The salon needs major upgrades, from the pedicure chairs to the tables that we did the manicures/full sets, Lights were broken or missing, and very limited in color choices for the clients. And in the classroom, the tables were set up bare, some so far from an outlet we needed extension cables running the floor to reach our seat. The school did not provide some basics even if they were to be used in the classroom alone, like led lights. I had to bring my spare because there was not enough for all students or they were so old it wouldn't work properly. It took over 3 weeks to get my nail drill that was included in the school's Nail kit, but it was cheap and barely worked. It would shut off on me and I'd have to wait to restart it. For a $250 Nail kit fee, you'd expect better. The YN box is amazing, I was using them beforehand, but the extra items supplied from the school was lackluster and honestly I'm just going to throw them out.now for the absolute highlight of the school, the instructor! RAFAEL is a golden light in a dark room! He was the turning point for the whole program! He is so kind, personable, and warm. He is educated and talented beyond his years of experience! Super helpful, willing to help each and every student with demos, videos, or even pulling up a seat beside you and walk you through the process! He made everyday just that much better! Knowing everything I know now after going through this school, I would do it again solely for Rafael and the amazing girls I had the honor of attending classes with!

Completed my full specialist program here. Mrs Érica was amazing and taught the esthetician portion. She was super knowledgeable and shared so many great tips. Mr. Rafael taught the nail portion. He is the best! He looks out for his students, knows the latest trends, is super friendly and eager to answer and demonstrate techniques. He always makes sure we learn and get the most out of the program! Super grateful for the teachers I had while there!

Hair cuts always on point been coming here for yrs and the instructor me chris the pro got his barbers always doin the best.keep up the great work.

He considered this school with excellent staff, especially the teacher of Miss Jahaira González, educates with a lot of patience and love, an excellent professional recommended a thousand times, her way of explaining makes one as a student learn faster and be more confident in the work To make. 100% recommended

As a Nail Technician student I really appreciate Ms. Nery and all that she does for her students. Not only is she attentive but she is very helpful and caring. She keeps the classroom very engaged, and no one is above anyone we are all treated equally. I learned so much more than I thought I would because of her. A lot of the supplies comes from her money and that just shows how much she loves her students as well as nails and the creativity in general. I loved going to class every week because of the experience Ms. Nery provided.

Great barbering school. All the services provided by student under the watchful eye of Mr Chris. Kudos to all the young men and women learning a useful trade. Have been going there for 20 years and no regrets. Students take time to do it right. $8.00 haircut is priced right.

My experience as a Nail technician student was
More then I expected. Mrs Nery went above and beyond. If there was something that I did not understand or needed extra help with she was there to help me through. I have learned so much more than I thought I would. She was sweet, caring and respectful. If you are ever considering to become a nail tech, I would recommend.

I have came in school for 2 different services and they are not a English based school, They are not teaching the students to rinse with cold water after conditioner. They i’m not taught to do African-American HAIR! And when being told on how to properly do it, they take offense because they acting like it hard to listen to someone about their hair when the students are educated on African-American hair. EDUCATION THE STUDENTS CAUSE BEING IN A SALON YOU WILL FACE ALL TYPES OF CLIENTS WITH ALL TYPES OF DIFFERENT HAIR
