Academy Sports + Outdoors, Lake Mary FL

I live within 5 minutes of this location, it has by far the worst fishing department of any store I frequent. Go there any day of the week and try to find a penn combo. Sold out every time with hundreds of feet of empty shelf space. Walk down any aisle in the department, half of the peg hooks are bare. Whoever is running that dump should be canned. I drive an hr to go to bass pro instead. You should too.

I find it very frustrating that a Sporting Goods store doesn't carry golf shoes for women. I guess they don't realize that women play golf. Seriously undeliverable.

I frequently spend money in this store and am usually satisfied but after my last experience here will not be returning. I was hounded by numerous employees while shopping around for a Father’s Day gift and rudely approached by one lady employee while trying on a pair of shoes with no intent to help out. It made me very uncomfortable and decided to leave, being treated as a thief. You lost a sale today and a customer forever.

Bought a grill super helpful took it up front as I continued to shop for other items. Very helpful loading it in my vehicle

Excellent customer service from everyone. Had to return an item that was too small not a problem!

They have Crocs! Very helpful staff. Only place I can find orange socks for softball! Always finding nice shirts on sale near the dressing room.

Today is December 23 2020,
Drove all the way from Mount Dora in search of a bike for my son. Borrowed money just to pay for it. They had one left in the back and Steve the manager helped me find it. But it didn't stop there. As I was up front trying to pay for it the card machine for some reason (God) wasn't working and then Steve came up and said he would buy the bike for my son. I'm still in shock over this because I never get anything or win anything.

Always a great store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Their prices are fair and the store is always clean and organized. In lovely area of Lake Mary right off I4. Go here for sports gear and leisure activity toys.

Customer service sucks, shoes and other items either misplaced not in stock or don't have the quality and sizes needed I was with my family in the store for approximately 45 minutes nobody ever asked or or helped us except after we chase down somebody another Sports Authority in the future only matter of time.

Competitive prices clean etc, had to return shoes, so 4 stars, but customer service made it very easy to return and get new ones so 5 stars.

I had a issue with one if the bikes I purchased they took care of the issue with out receipt. Great customer service

Purchased handgun, took about 30 minutes and gave price match plus 5% off. Pretty smooth process.

Big place with a great selection of stuff, Couldn't find anyone to wait on me, I was in a hurry and left empty handed.

I've walked out of this place twice. One register open, customers six deep, and two other employees chatting over at the"meet & greet" area. Where's the manager?

Needed four crates for big dogs last minute before the hurricane hit and they had plenty as so glad. Very helpful team members. Also very kind.

Good prices on bikes and really all sporting goods. Limited selection on some items but overall more affordable than Dick’s.

This is for their online service, not this particular branch. I placed an order online and they shipped my order missing most of the parts. They literally shipped me a handle. I called customer service 3 times and they were completely unable to rectify the situation! Ridiculous! I will never order from this merchant again.

This is a beautiful store. It is well staffed and they will go the extra mile to help you when needed!

They have a wide variety of things from Kayaks, grills, to the latest sporting clothing.

They were handing out $10 off coupons as we walked in the store with a $25.00 purxhase. Great Deal!
