Every time you call the phone number and it tells you to press a number to talk to a customer service representative it hangs up on you.the system is broken. On purpose.they do this on purpose so you cannot get through to them so you can get no help

It offers help then hangs up on you! It's been 2 and a half months, it still says verification needed but won't say what verification. Then it says decision pending but it's been a month. Absolutely ridiculous!

They tell you that everything will be easy to figure out and complete and that it can be done over the phone. It's lies. If I didn't go work while dealing with this illness at the same time, in a desperate move, I'd have died already. Anything government funded is a waste of time and they don't help you even though you paid taxes for the service to exist to be able to help you. Terrible place.

If I could ZERO stars, I would. I go through all the obstacles of getting a representative on the phone, it rings once and hangs up on me! This is a joke.

Literally as I write this review, I'm trying to help a friend with his food benefit and have been on hold for almost 3 hours (and counting). I work in customer service and that is an unacceptable hold time. People come to you because they need help. You need to have a better system in place.
Update: After remaining on hold for another hour and 15 minutes, the call got dropped. Unbelievable!

The wait time is horrible they never return calls and not to mention the 30 something day wait just for a recertification and still not processed is very ridiculous

These guys never pick the phone up.i call ebt they answered.florida access never, u have to listen to 5 min of talk about the government check then when u try to get a human they hang up in your face

The absolute WORST! You would think these people would go into this line of work because they care about people and want to help people…. NOPE. Literally the most unhelpful and rude people ever. I’ve been trying to get on Medicaid and SNAP for over a year now. They don’t update you or keep track of anything. They lie and make everything your problem. Extremely disappointing and discouraging.

Absolutely inexcusable that you call and choose to have a call back rather than wait on hold, they call you back within 30 minutes, and immediately put you on hold for over 30 minutes. What in tf? !

EBT employee management should be fired for their terrible negligence.
They cause meaningless delay to people who need fast approval by requiring impossible to get documents as verification and went for vacation without replacing another customer service representatives.
Everyone has issue with this kind of negligence and misconduct should report!

I've spent 3 of my days off trying to get ahold of this department and I've gotten nowhere. They've sent me a letter saying I have benefits with another agency (which isn't true). I'm struggling to feed my children being the sole provider in my house. I just need some help and can't seem to get it. My family is about to go hungry just because I can't get through to a human. Idk what is going on with access but it needs to be changed. Hire more people! The government spends more money on fighting with Disney than helping struggling families and it's ridiculous.

Edit: to get ahold of them I had to put in a call back they called me back put me on hold for thirty two minutes. So if you can't get ahold of them I suggest doing that.

I started calling at 8am and was placed on call back service.waited 2 hours to be called back, and then another hour for someone to say "Hello my name is Rose what is your social". I did not get a chance to answer because "Rose " hung up the phone. I manage to call back and again was place on call back service waited another 2 hours and then another 35 minutes for Rose to answer my call and Hang up on me again! I tried calling back and now system is saying no one is available. The worst customer service experience ever.

I have always paid in time withdraw $95 for late fees pay with money order do not trust them with your account once they take your money they don't give it back to you and you're stuck 75 years old never have I had this type of experience been with the same bank for 25 years never had a bouncing check until I came to Florida the apartments are nice do company stinks

These one star reviews are no joke. I honestly refuse to believe that these good ratings are anything but extremely poor attempts to make themselves look better.

I was told my wait time would be over two hours. I chose the call-back option. Three hours later, I got a call back. And I was immediately put on hold. No one even spoke to me first. I answered, accepted the call, and immediately got hold music.

I was on hold for nearly an hour and when they finally spoke to me they refused to assist me and made things out to be my fault even though they failed to do their job properly the first time around.
