Ace Hardware of Riverview North

Staff walked out 5 minutes before closing. I told them I needed 1 screw for a toilet and they laughed. 1 old guy and a young girl with long brown hair. I live 1 mile away and would rather support them than big box.

I'll never go back.

I was in that store this week, I was initially attended by a Hispanic girl very well, I do not remember her name and she took me to Brandon, a young man who also took great care of me and helped me with what I needed. Thanks.

First time in the store. Very impressed with the staffs helpfulness and knowledge. Refreshing to get customer service.

Awful. Staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, our first time visiting and Ace Hardware and it will be our last. "The helpful hardware store" it is Not.

I brought in items to be cut. I detailed what was needed and specified I needed it today. One of the items was cut and then after bringing the rest of the pieces was told by the manager (who never came out, just relayed the info) it would take a week! Why cut one and waste my time and your staff’s time if you weren’t going to complete the job? Very poor customer service skills by the manager at this store, unfortunate for the friendly staff.

Here in the store several workers with one customer. I asked the clerk if they had an item she stated she was not sure. I proceeded to look for item in store. Could not find item. No once was I offered assistance.

OK store but the guy in the paint department didn't feel a need to wear a mask. I will not return to the place. Simply common courtesy these days

Very helpful, always have what I need, and knowledgeable help if I cannot find what I need on my own. A lot faster to get what you need than the big box stores.

Recently moved to Riverview and was starting to go to Ace in Riverview because they are closer than Home Depot and they are easier to speak to for questions than Home Depot. A week ago I stopped in to buy a trim brush and asked if they would shake 2 gallons of paint that I had bought from Home Depot. They refused to shake them because they were the competitor brand. Really? Sherwyn Williams WILL shake another paint brand. It’s called convenience and customer service. Maybe as a small hardware store competing with the big box chain stores it would serve you well as a way to be more personal and build loyalty and trust. I rarely see any customers in your store. You can’t afford to be stubborn.

Customer service is top notch. Has the feel of a local store instead of a chain store. Huge selection.

Fantastic customer service. I called about getting a small piece of glass cut for an antique grandfather clock and they were very helpful. Cut the glass and had it waiting for me to pick up and it fit perfectly. Very reasonable rates.

Least helpful Ace Hardware I've been in. Asked if they could check availability at other locations before driving to them and the young guy was going to check the computer for me but I believe he was still learning the system so he asked the older guy about it. I was looking for a toilet that I found online. The older guy without looking at the computer told me no store has these in stock and they would all have to order them. I walked out and made a call to one of my favorite locations in Seffner and lo and behold they said they had one in stock but double checked before I drove there. Once I got to Seffner they already had the toilet on a cart for me ready to load up. Thanks for nothing Riverview Ace. Will not return to this location!
