Acreage Montessori Academy, Royal Palm Beach FL

We have recommended several families who have moved to Palm Beach over to Acreage Montessori, and they are all still there and very happy!

My three-year-old daughter attended Acreage Montessori Academy for four days in October and November 2023. I decided to end her enrollment for various reasons.

One notable concern was the lack of direct feedback from the teacher. Dropping off and picking up the kids at the office/entrance area meant parents had no opportunity to interact with the classroom teacher. On my daughter's first day, I was eager to hear about her experience, but all I got was a brief, "Great. She did not cry. " As a parent, this disconnect felt unusual. When I inquired, I was told that teachers couldn't interact with every parent due to their childcare responsibilities. This stark lack of communication with the teacher, a departure from my previous preschool experiences, left me unsettled.

A more troubling incident occurred when a stranger was accidentally added to our authorized pickup list in the preschool's parent portal. While I expected a sincere apology from the administration, it was brushed off as a "technical error. " Despite assurances that physical verification was in place, having a stranger listed as an authorized pickup person was concerning. I understand that running a business demands efficiency, but it is crucial to remember that a preschool deals with families and their most precious assets: their children. This matter should have been treated with greater seriousness.

During my preschool tour, I felt pressured to secure a spot quickly by paying a $200 deposit, which was later used to rationalize the school's mistakes. This, I found unprofessional. Additionally, this $200 deposit and the extensive list of required school supplies, including costly items like soccer balls and playdough, was not returned despite multiple requests after withdrawing my daughter just three days into her attendance. Even a water bottle labeled with her name went missing and was not returned. Same goes for the multiple photos of my daughter and my family that we had to supply on her first day. They were never returned to me. I find this lack of courtesy disheartening.

When I raised these concerns, the owners responded with insincere apologies, citing their efforts to help me secure a spot quickly, allowing me to talk to the classroom teacher upon my specific request, and responding to me outside business hours. While I appreciated these gestures, using them to justify clear mistakes felt inappropriate and unprofessional.

Overall, the leadership structure at Acreage Montessori Academy is unclear. Interaction was primarily with a director, one of the owners, and a few teachers, while emails from the "administration" were anonymous. When I specifically inquired about the sender's identity, I was given only a first name, Ana, which struck me as strange and unprofessional.

My 3 year old has been at Acreage since he was 18 months old. We have always been treated well, and anytime my wife needs anything, they are extremely accommodating. Our son is always excited to go to school each morning and we get updates throughout the day. Shoutout to Ms. Lynn for being so nice always!

We absolutely love this school! The new owners have been doing an amazing job at addressing all of our requests and creating the right environment for the children.

The staff and administration at Acreage Montessori Academy have been so welcoming and nurturing to our daughter. The teachers have gone above and beyond to ensure that my daughter transitions smoothly to her new environment and classmates. The staff/ administration have been so helpful during this process. They have made us feel so at home and comfortable as we settle into our new routine. I'm grateful for their caring and mindful approach towards the children and the family. I definitely recommend them ️!

My daughter has grown so much at acreage, she tests above her age-level all the time and we absolutely love Ms. LINDA! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for their children to actually learn!

Definitely recommend. Ms. Ana, the Principal is so kind and spent extra time with my son in the beginning. We have now been there 6 months and have seen a huge change in him. They had a wonderful father's day event as well that we were all invited to and we noticed how nice all the classrooms are. They always send photos and projects home as well, so you know what's going on.

My grandson ended up at the emergency room. There is a lack of supervision at this school!

A great school. I am so pleased with everything my daughter has been learning and how social she has become. We moved to Westlake in March and Acreage Montessori has made her feel right at home. My wife loves the pictures she gets every day from Ms. Crystal. We will be starting our youngest in January as well!

This preschool is managed by the most thoughtful owners you can think of. They are dedicated and ensure an offering of a very comprehensive curriculum, hands on learning, warm loving teachers and beautifully decorated and secure campus. They take pride on making sure it’s an engaging educational experience for your child.

Went to pick up my friend's kid here once and honestly wonderful place, lovely staff that treated me super nice. Facilities are nice too, was pleasantly surprised

My son has been going here for the last 3 years and absolutely loves it. The new owners have really helped him with the transition to his new class and he is doing so well. I love getting the projects daily and we love Ms. Amanda, thank you!

My son has been here for the last 3 years in the aftercare and on the days that there are no classes at school the whole day the teachers have always been very attentive to him. I am very happy that my son feels good here at Acreage Montessori.

We couldn't be happier with our choice of Acreage Montessori for our little one. The school's facilities are excellent and safe. It's clear the staff really care about the kids, and my son has grown so much since he started attending.

As a parent, I can't praise Acreage Montessori Academy enough. The teachers are beyond dedicated and my child just loves the nurturing environment. It's a safe, clean space where learning is a joy. Truly a gem of a school!
