I am a long time chiropractic patient, & when I moved to this area I tried a couple of different offices - the hands down best choice was ActiveLife! The combination of deep muscle massage & adjustments is the winning key for me - these guys are professional, yet very concerned about each case, & hear what you trying to tell them - I have found my spot, & would highly recommend to anyone who is searching!

Being new to the Cape I had no idea where to go when I wrenched my lower back from the move. After doing some research Dr. Cartales appeared to be the best choice.and that could not have been more right! The doctor and entire staff are so helpful and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. And I have to say, I have never had a better chiropractic experience in my life! I went in and was in so much pain I could hardly move. After the treatment, I walked out in no pain and felt great! Absolutely the best chiropractic treatment I have ever had!

Very good staff. People very caring from the front desk to the doctor. I went to see them with neck pain, headache, and sciatic pain. Jessica gave me a massage, she is amazing, very good work. It's worth to go there. They really care. I recommend it.

Dr. Cartales was fantastic! My husband, also a Chiropractor, has acute lower back pain while we are here on vacation. He got us in this morning and we are so grateful. Great experience! I strained a muscle in my neck while we are here on vacation playing with my toddler on the beach. They were able to get me in earlier today and it couldn't have gone better. This was a much nicer place than i have been to back home. The staff was friendly and more importantly they fixed my issue.would definitely recommend!

Beware! When I arrived to active life chiropractic to Dr. Micheal Cartales. I was walking, running, going to the gym and in good health. I had an active daily lifestyle.
After his adjustments I was unable to walk and in excruciating pain. I ended up on walker, having bladder with bowel incontinence, bed rid, drop foot with muscle atrophy. I was hospitalized and diagnosed with spinal stenosis, bursitis and FAI. Because of my i couldn't walk anymore I had to have emergency spinal surgery.
His receptionist, massage therapist and other staff as well as customers heard when he adjusted my back because it was very loud. I told him it hurt, he said my back has to get worst to get better! He sent me home with ice, barely able to walk and never called to check on my progress.
I became crippled after adjustments from Dr. Michael Cartales.
I’m not new to chiropractic care. Chiropractic care improved me in the past. He did not take responsibility for his actions and only blamed to protect himself.
He is dangerous because he removes reviews less than 5 star, was neglectful to follow up and his adjustments style dangerous.
