Hands down the best plumbing company in South Florida! Zach installed a water filtration system for us and did a phenomenal job. Very knowledgeable, courteous, efficient & cleaned up after he was done. Can't say enough about this company. Fantastic!

Nick Smith came out for a quote and was professional, knowledgeable, and happy to explain his reasoning for all quotes and recommendations. After getting two quotes, Admiral Plumbing had the best pricing and customer service. The job was done quickly and excellently and the price was fair. I’ll use Admiral Plumbing and Nick again.

I highly recommend Admiral Plumbing Services. They were very quick to come out to the job that I needed to have completed. From the moment I called I felt like a valued customer. The person that answered the phone was a pleasure to speak with and was able to get an appointment for me very quickly.

Miguel Castillo was the plumber that completed the job. He was wonderful to work with and since I was not able to be on location, he made sure to walk me through all that was needed to be completed and explained why and how he was going to complete the work. He also sent me before and after pictures as well.
I was able to go by the unit a few days later and work he did was better in person than in the pictures he sent me. I would highly recommend this company and ask to have Miguel Castillo do the job. I am very impressed and pleased with the entire experience.

Update: After contacting the email below and taking out more of my time by giving beneficial feedback to a company rep by phone, I received no satisfactory resolution.

-Two points given: 1) Philip in the office interacted professionally and helpfully
2) Damian, one of the plumbers, interacted professionally and was friendly

The water heater Admiral installed for us failed inspection, so a few details had to be adjusted including the awful, sulfuric stench coming from the hot water. This is common in the area we live in and caused by hydrogen sulfide-eating bacteria interacting with the anode rod in the machine (no issues in our previous unit). The solution? Exchanging the water heater’s anode rod with one made of a metal that does not interact with this bacteria.

Twice, I was stood up on the return appointment. On a Monday, I waited for hours, called the office and was told the technician would be calling me any minute to say he was on his way. An hour later, I called back as no one called or came. Then, I was told that the tech was not even at work that day.

We tried again on Wednesday. Yet again, I waited hours just to find out he was never coming, despite what the email and text reminder system of the company said.

When I shared my experience with a supervisor, I felt she minimized it by not acknowledging the inconvenience to me or misuse of my time. Instead, she tried to breeze over it and just set up another appointment. It was not until I further expressed my displeasure that I was provided what seemed to me to be a reluctant apology with no guarantee of changed behavior.

The tech eventually made it to our place and already weeks had passed with gross-smelling water. He made the other repairs necessary for re-inspection but said he needed to find out more about the anode rod before he took care of that. I sent him a link to a specific rod that two separate water companies in the area recommended. I asked him to confirm whether it would work for our machine.

I reached out a few times without getting anywhere, then, over a month later, the company called me: “Your part has come in. ” I told them I was not waiting for a part, that I had the anode rod and needed to confirm it worked for our machine. My discussions with professionals indicated a possible risk that the rod material Admiral was supplying would similarly react. After plenty of shuffling and someone supposedly going to call me, then never calling me, I called back and confirmed with an employee that the rod I had was good to go and someone would come by that week and install it.

They were running late again, so I called and was told they were sending two people over soon. Only one showed up for a two-person job: a different tech than before, carrying an anode rod with him. I had to reiterate all these conversations that I had already reiterated to so many people.

When I mentioned that there seemed to be a lack of communication within the company and when I tried to figure out how we were going to prepare and organize to achieve this task, he kept shifting focus, asking me things like why would I select a hybrid water heater as according to him it makes work complicated even though I provided the manual/instructions. I reminded him that his company ordered it and installed it. He said: “We will install anything. ” He asked me why I wanted an eco-friendly unit and why I would want to save the environment. After all that, he drained a bunch of water from our unit, did something to it for a few hours and then came to the conclusion that it was a two-person job after all and another appointment was needed (no rod installed).

The hybrid water heater cost over $1000 to install. We paid high prices for professionalism but do not feel we received it. Separate from the installation cost, we paid a lot for this machine and we need to make sure it is tended with care and skill. We feel that this is not the company to achieve that goal, so we will get another one.
