Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches reviews
10This organization is not what they say that they are. I called and asked for help and was treated very rudely by the staff. They made me feel bad for being in need. I would not recommend this organization to anyone who needs help.
This used to be an amazing agency filled with compassionate staff. Not anymore. Really sad.
Helped my family when they got here in 1999 and just wanted to thank you guys so much. We couldn’t be here without the help of this charity.
Went through this program for assistance. Had income and childcare. Needed assistance getting an available rental. Had a “case worker” named Ima Mallett who didn’t assist with not 1 thing throughout the duration of the “90 day program”. Literally NOTHING besides offering a $700 Walmart gift card if I was to give her (the program) $500 while I was there. Like what? Not to mention you don’t even hear from your case worker till the last 30 days. I asked for resources and she literally said there were none. So she just gets paid to sit behind a desk and type things in the computer. I should apply here.
They paid for a hotel for three months and when I exit the program they were able to pay first last and security for a place for me and my son. I’m so grateful for all of your help and for helping me and my three year old son with a fresh beautiful new start ️
I have called every day and nothing I’m a mom of two boys got scammed and was focus outta my home of five years I’m not from here so I don’t have family I’m not sure why I’m not getting the help but i very upset that I can’t even get a call back to check on me a my kids homeless is real and no one should be homeless at these times
Thank you Adopt-a-family and Andrea for all you did for my family during this hard time. Keep up the Good job.
My family and I are forever grateful for the marvelous assistance we received from the moment we were accepted into Adopt a family Safe program. From the wonderful staff to the dedicated volunteers that showed nothing but love and understanding to our needs. We as a family learned so much of how to be successful individuals in the society. Thank you so much Adopt a family for your vision and caring hearts to help so may in need. The Pena Family
I love them. They have helped me and my 2 kids have a place to stay safe. I absolutely love the staff. They are very caring and they make sure me and my family are doing well. They help to slove issues in a timely manner. The apartments are nice. I'm so thankful for them.
Wow these people help who they want here I am almost homeless in the middle of being evicted with 2 disabled children reaching out to them for help and I am being told I’m behind too much and don’t qualify for there program. But they supposed to prevent you from being homeless. I think someone need to really check and see what’s going on in that place because people who really need the help is not getting the help
