Employees are not very helpful, when you ask? They wanna say they don't know! And will keep you waiting in line, until there ready too deal with you. This is why I don't buy from them anymore! And try my hardest, not too ever go there for anything.

The customer service at this place is unreal! The employees held the door for an extended period of time for me. They even offered to help me install my new air filter! I really appreciate these people!

Best parts store ever! First and foremost a SUPER HUGE shout-out and thank you to the understanding and patient men at our local advanced auto parts! You are amazing! My husband and I where broke down for 5 days and they never asked us to leave or called a tow truck on us like many other places have so thanks to there understanding we felt welcomed and safe in there parking lot even while sleeping when it came down to us finally getting the parts we needed they helped as much as they could and even let us use some tools we didn't have and needed.ultimately we finally got our little Michigan rust beater of a truck back on the road and promised them an amazing review with 5 stars because they truly deserve every star! If we could give them a 100 stars we would! THANK YOU AGAIN GUYS YOU ARE AWESOME!

Best costumer service, the employees are knowledgeable and caring by the customer needs. The best ting is that they explain every option available that benefit the client. There excelent.

No one even said hello can I help you. There was only one other customer in the store. They were more concerned about who was going to lunch. When someone comes into an auto part store, they're not just looking around the need something. Help them.

Won’t ever be coming back to this location. Manager (believe his name was jerry) of the store is super condescending. I understand I’m a female in a male dominated store, and not a mechanic but I’m not stupid. If I ask for a wheel stud and washer for it, don’t school me and “educate” me on how a wheel works. I’m getting it cause I was asked to get it (which I explained). Also have witnessed the manger act super condescending toward one of his Hispanic workers, treating him like he was illiterate and dumb for not knowing where an item was. Just to be clear ever other worker there has been nice to me and super helpful, but I refuse to support the establishment due to jerry.

I see lots of people having issues with jerry and still nothing is done about him. That’s fine this establishment will just continue losing money and customer. Pretty sure he’s friends with the store owner.

By far the worst experience I've had with a store quite ever. My fiance went to return a rent-a-tool we had rented from another store. To be sure we called the store we rented the tool from to ensure we can return it at any location. They confirmed this was possible, which lead us to this location as it was closer. She was told by the manager that this couldn't be done and refused to help altogether. He wouldn't scan the tool or look up the serial. Just looked up our phone number said he couldn't find us and told her to leave. So fast forward my mother had gone in to try and resolve the issue to possibly explain the situation better. Instantly met by the manager telling my mother that "he already told the girl previously he can't return the tool". Being completely disrespectful he argued the entire time telling her she couldn't return it just to say seconds later that he would return it but only for store credit. This making no sense my mother requested corporates number to report this incident he wrote down the number and handed it over. On her way out he continued to shout aggressively " mam.mam.have a good day" repeatedly.

Not to mention previous incidents where he treats other workers there like trash. Especially Hispanic people, I've never seen such modern day racism.

Very bad attention. I wanted to return a piece and the manager was rude just because I did not buy this piece in his store.he even went behind the counter to tell him that he did not agree

Gero/Giro was a great. Gave me all the information his boss didn't. In spanish and in English. I might add.

The three stars are thanks to Jose the store manager I assume. Older, white gentleman with Grey gain styled to the side. Was not very friendly. Did not provide alot of information when I was trying to make a return. Basically told that I can get a store credit and that's it. Giro, told me to go to the initial store I paid in order to get the record.

The difference of doing your job and providing a service was undeniable.

A couple years ago I had to buy a battery for my one vehicle and for some reason I thought I picked it up at a different store. When I went in to the other store they told me it wasn't there battery it was from Advance. I think them and drove up the street. I went in and told them I had a battery I need warranty and that I needed help bringing it in. Brought a cart out and loaded the battery onto it and brought it inside. This is a very large extremely heavy battery. He took it behind the counter and they tested it and they agreed it should be replaced. I kind of ran into a problem when he asked if I bought it in the store and I said yes and he couldn't find a record of the sale. We discussed it and I said I know I had researched it online but I know I had come into the store for it he said well if I bought it online it wouldn't be in their system so I would need the receipt for it. I wasn't sure if I still had one and he was endeavoring to assist me with it anyway. While he was entering information I took out my phone and opened my email and did a search for Advance Auto Parts. I had several listings that came up and when I scroll through I found one that showed the receipt for when I purchased the battery. He was right, I did get it online but picked it up in the store. Once I showed him the receipt it became a much easier job to warranty. Things have changed quite a bit since I installed and sold batteries. When I purchased it it had a 3-year warranty. Since it had been 2 years they replaced the battery and explained that I had 1 year left on the warranty. Back in my day it was all prorated. From my point of view today I was just as happy that I didn't have to pay anything to get it replaced. I'm pretty sure that the old one had a dead short in it. In the end they were very helpful and I was glad that we could get it taken care of right away. I brought it home and put it in the vehicle and it started on the 1st try. This was important because my youngest child is going to be needing the vehicle to get to and from their new job. I will definitely remember next time I need something for my vehicle that they stood behind their product like I felt they should.

-Edited to add: The website boasts free code checking amongst other things, please remove that from the site. Not questioning what the company needs to do for the safety of your associates, just noting the lack of updating the website in the last year and a half to reflect the change. It isnt fair to the associates to be the bearer of bad news to those who specifically looked online to double check to verify the service is still offered. - end of edit-
The associate said that they don't do code checking and haven't since March of last year, even though the website still says they do. Didn't offer to let me do what other advance autos have since covid and have me leave my license in exchange for me taking their OBD scanner and using it myself. The O'Reilly just down the street did though, and got my subsequent purchase afterwords. I'm a new resident to the area, and the website/in store contradiction left an underwhelming first impression. That is a disappointment.advance was my go to store in my previous city specifically because of the above and beyond service at both stores I frequented.

Ordered a drain pan washer, it was supposed to be in the next day. So went to pick it up, and to my surprise they didn’t receive it. So they ordered another, and said they would call me when it came in. The guy wrote my number down and guaranteed he would call me. Four days passed, still no call. I called in and was told They couldn’t help locate it because I needed to speak to the commercial Dept. So fast forward it has been over a week. When I called and expressed my displeasure to Jerry he was very rude, never apologized and just said “you want to pick it up, or not? ” Then hung up

Geo is the most disrespectful employee I've encountered there disrespect me in front of my child. Didn't know these are the type of people you wanting representing your company. If I were to treat a customer in company logo like he did I would terminated as I think he should be. You need more employees like Jason that will go above an beyond for someone especially fixing a simple mistake that geo couldn't get a Manager but yet talk to customers with rudeness amd disrespect. Good help may be hard to find but this guy geo is terrible get rid of this toxic employee
