5I brought my son to the Westchase office as a new patient. We made it very clear at the beginning of the visit that we had a hard stop at 4 PM as my son had baseball practice. At first they seemed very accommodating, but then when it came close to when we had to leave I went to the front desk and told them about our departure. The nurse/receptionist then tried to collect $50 from me when we had not seen the physician. She was very insistent that I pay that $50? ! Then after knowing we had a hard stop at 4 PM she said we should’ve allowed for an hour for a new patient visit. I then asked her why she didn’t tell us that at the beginning of the visit. She said she forgot? ! When we did finally see the provider, Dr. Chamarthy was short with us during the visit when I asked a simple question about allergy shots; barking back her response. Overall very disappointing, we will not return, and do not recommend!
When a medical practice prioritize business before patient’s care you stay away from it. I made an appointment 10 days ago to see an allergist for my condition, they call me the day before the appointment to tell me that a have a deductible and have to pay it before my insurance process the claim, they stated that as a business they have right to collect the money before the claim is processed. Not only that, they have a 24 hour cancellation policy yet I got the call at 11: 58 am from their staff. Based in my insurance company the practice should not collect my deductible before the claim is processed, and that I could file a complaint. Well all I can say is they could keep their business.
Amazing experience at the west chase office. They always treat me with kindness. I would recommend Advanced Allergy and Asthma Care at Westchase to anyone suffering from allergies or asthma they will find a solution
