Advanced Dental Care of Mount Dora, Mt Dora FL

The office, staff members, Dr. 's, Dental Assistant, and the Hygienist are all professional. They treat all patients as if they're their only patient. Everyone does their part not only professionally, but with the utmost respect and a caring hand. It's just unfortunate that Dental Care costs are ridiculously high, But of course if one is in esscrusiating pain, one will find a way to make it possible to make that pain go away. Evidently it's the market that drives Dental cost sky high. This is the only reason I didn't rate them with 5 stars. Parking is convenient. Waiting is always a short time. Checking out is quick and easy. The last time I had to see my Dentist, they first start with your insurance, then providing me with what exactly I'm having done. This way, I'm not surprise when it comes time pay my bill. Upon leaving I have a schedule as to when my next appt will be. I also have in my hand everything they were billing me for. Last but not least I end up walking out their door as one happy camper.

I've had multiple procedures, they do good work. If I have a problem they remedy it quickly. I'm very satisfied.

Don't go here they are horrible. They started a root canal on me then stopped halfway through leaving my tooth exposed and sent me home with no instructions on what to do about it. It was awful and the pain was so unbelievably bad that I ended up at the ER the next day. (This was a few years ago but I still remember how terrible this ordeal was)

My daughter comes here and sees the orthodontist. Dr. Daniela Urciuoli recommended a type of treatment in which i saw results right away. My daughter may or may not need braces now and if so it will be less time. She is very educated, very sweet and caring. All of her assistants are great as well. I highly recommend her and the office. They are awesome!

The entire staff in this office make it the place it is. 5 stars all day and that’s at every visit. Very welcoming and great on keeping you posted of all upcoming appointments. This is the place for your entire family!

I want to like this office and dentist, but I keep having bad experiences. First they filled one of my teeth, did not chart it correctly, the filling caused me pain for months and then fell out. They said they didn't do the filling but will fix it. How could that be true if I've never had fillings before? I kept telling them the pain was from the filling being loose, they insisted I needed a root canal but once the filling fell out and was fixed, i had no more pain. Then the charge for nitrous went from $32 to over $130, they didn't bother to let me know the price increased 4x beforehand. First they said it was my insurance, so I called my insurance. My insurance doesn't cover it so the price change has nothing to do with them. Then the office said the price change is because my insurance is no longer preferred by their practice. Which again, my insurance doesn't even cover the service. I talked to the office manager who then said the price change had to do with their corporate and them upgrading their nitrous equipment. Now I'm receiving a bill in the mail for $87 for a missed appointment even though I left them a voice-mail the day before asking to reschedule and asking for a call back. Never got a call back. Got a second set of fillings here too this year and they're still in immense pain months later.

Update:
Called April 27th, waited 20+ mins on hold to speak to the office manager. I was told they would call me back next day. 5 days later no call back. They sent me an email saying that they reversed the missed appointment fee and that I now need to pay a deposit when scheduling.

Great office and staff. Always nice and smiling. Dr Martin is a wonderful dentist. They all made sure I was as comfortable as could be. Definitely recommend.

Advanced Dental takes the time to walk me through each step of any procedure as it is being done. I have always found them to be respectful and kind. Most importantly they are professional.
I have always been able to speak with a person whenever I have called. Never once have a had to leave voicemail. I don’t mind leaving voicemails. I just find it impressive that they are so attentive to calls.

Im glad I found Advanced Dental 3 years ago when my former Dentist closed practice.

I went in for a broken tooth and they took care of me right away and it all came out very good

Started on time and got a good examination with a plan for moving forward. Everyone was courtesy and friendly. Good overall experience.

Avoid at all costs! They charged my mother a large amount of money for a root canal and did not fix it at all. Now we are having to redo & pay for the whole procedure again with another dentist.
