Been going to this place since it was Florida Skin Care. Now after 18 years they don't take United Healthcare when I show up for my appointment taking time off from work which they should have told me when they verified my insurance a few days ago and wanted us to pay out of pocket.

We wasted a half day off from work to now find another dermatologist. Way to end a doctor/patient relationship.

Update: I have called and spoke with Your new manager and She is just as useless as Your previous manager. Just terrible terrible customer service. Do You even look at Your terrible reviews? You tell people to call but nothing gets resolved point blank.

Sorry for My delayed review but I was dealing with the hurricane.
In Aug of 2022 I was seen by a PA by the name of Mrs. Warrick for an abcess on my leg. Mrs. Warrick Lanced it and left it open to drain so no sutures were placed. A culture was also taken to make sure it was not infected. I have no insurance so I paid in full that day. I was instructed to return a week later for her to check the area and get my results. She had me pull my pants down on my follow up so the whole 5 minutes I was standing up while she bent her head and I was charged an additional $386.00 for that. She didn't even touch the area at all. When I asked about my results from the lab I was told by her it was inconclusive so I got not results. Today I received a bill from quest for the first time from 8 months later for $375.00 for my wonderful inconclusive results. I mean I love paying for nothing.
Please note I have called approximately 15 times to the office and billing dept.to discuss my bill and explain that nothing was done on my follow up but got no resolution therefore I had to pay it not to ruin my credit.
I do billing and collections for a living. What I quote a patient with NO INSURANCE is the total they pay.
Being NO INSURANCE was involved you had no reason to bill anything additional since you are not waiting on the final insurance payment.
In my opinion you are crooks.
I am not done with your office as I have already contacted the Florida medical review board.
Have a good life ripping people off.

Absolute worst visit with any doctor I’ve ever had. My “appointment” with Dr. Barnett, lasted not even 5 mins and the doctor was absolutely sure that I had a generic condition despite me urging them to at least look at the issue. I got a second opinion and had a medical biopsy after the treatment did nothing. Found out that the diagnosis was wrong, and was told by the doctor who gave me a second opinion that the treatment given to me would’ve done nothing. I would like to thank you for taking $250 of my money giving me a wrong diagnosis, and then having me fork out all that money for medication I didn’t need to then go and get an actual doctor to diagnose me when you could’ve just sent for biopsy in the first place. Never again.

Listed as in network for my insurance. Made appointment 2 weeks ago. They took all my insurance information and tried to get me to pay my co pay early. I left work to go to my appointment and on arrival am told they don't accept my insurance.

I am 85 yrs old and ask too many questions but Adv Derm staff remained patient until I was able to understand my diagnosis. Thank you

The people were nice, but I can’t say they were professional in any way. I asked them to run my insurance and they assured me I would be just responsible for my copay. Well, they sent me $1000+ bill and are asking that I pay it? Billing department is horrible, never returns your call after several attempts still nothing. Very unethical business practice going on here. Of course I will not be paying the bill, due to their misinformation and unprofessionalism. Don’t go here, look elsewhere from here & advanced dermatology, you’ll be glad you stayed away.

I had to do 2 procedures a week apart & they took wonderful care of me. The check in process is quick and efficient, the entire staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous and they really helped me to stay calm and positive.
Thank you to Dr. Singer and his staff for taking excellent care of me.

The appointment process was easy, and the service and follow up received by Amy was excellent.
