Technicians arrived a few minutes early. The refinishing took about an hour and a half. They masked the sink toilet and metal fixtures. No observable overspray. They cleaned up when finished-no dust. New finish looks good! There is a chemical smell as others noted but it was mostly dissipated by the next day. This is a new job so I can’t comment on durability but the initial impression is excellent.

I have used Alex on a fair amount of projects. Most recently, some refinishing of cabinetry. He has also done showers/tubs in the past for myself as well as friends of ours. It does smell, and the paperwork clearly says it. As well, of course you can't use it right away. You don't want a bad outcome, so like everything else, patience is a virtue!

When asked to provide License and proof of Insurance, Alex refused. He claimed it was against policy to provide that to customer. Outrageous. Additionally, website indicates services available on Saturdays, however, Alex said they don’t do services on that day. False advertising. He was unprofessional and inflexible with scheduling. Finally, scheduled during week (after having to schedule a day from work!), he had me down for a complete bathroom redo. The only service I requested was a simple bathtub refinish! Again, completely unprofessional business and rude employee.

The company saved me money by refinishing my tub without replacing the whole tub. They were very punctual and paid attention to detail.

BEWARE OF HEADACHE INDUCING ODOR AFTER REGLAZING TUB!

This company reglazed my tub and now it is unusable because of a strong, headache inducing odor. The installer they sent was polite but could not communicate in English well enough to explain everything we needed to know. They told me the smell would be gone after a couple days, but it's been three weeks and the smell is still so strong that I don't feel safe letting my kids use the bathroom.

Worse, when I called to ask them if anything can be done to stop the smell, the guy didn't believe me and kept insisting that no one has ever complained about the smell before. He later said we should have known there are odor issues with reglazing and if he knew we were “sensitive” he would have told us not to get it done. However, he said, it's basically our fault for not knowing or asking about the smell!

He refused to give us a refund for the now unusable tub and the only resolution he offered was to have someone clean the tub with normal cleaning products and light candles for the odor.

What a terrible experience. Definitely do not recommend this company.

Edit: I did not go "on and on" about a refund. I said I wanted a refund one time and he said no. I then asked for other solutions and only standard cleaning was offered. I am not starting an argument or discussion over this, but I want that to be clear. As I said, be careful when considering this type of service.
