AdventHealth Fish Memorial, Orange City FL

Thank you to Advent Fish Memorial’s staff for the exceptional care given on my last health care visit.

My doctor Dr. Christopher LPaik has always been very helpful with my health and he always spends enough time with me to completely understand what is going on with me. I feel I have become more aware of my health both physically and mentally. I have nothing but respect for my doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a very professional and educated doctor.

Bad experience went in for afib told dr I was having chest pain.they did nothing for chest pain very scary

I live out of state and found out my sister was in the ER. The nurse caring for her, Juan, was very helpful in explaining her condition and discharge needs. It’s always hard when you don’t live close by but the staff there helped make the experience less stressful.

I had a great experience. The staff was outstanding, helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with Sheryl, she did a great job keeping me st ease. Enjoyed my time with her. She is a keeper.

For my first time being hospitalized I was amazed at how helpful the staff were! They were there at my every beck & call! They were also very informative! All my nurses and techs were absolutely wonderful!

1 in the afternoon and a Dr hasn't even showed up to the hospital to work.my mom has been in this jail all night and the next day not 1 overpaid Dr comes to check on her

The staff was very friendly Sara explained the procedure to me and eased my mind The Doctor talked to me about what he was doing making sure I was ok In and out of the hospital within 1 hr

Me and my wife Jennifer want to said thank to each one who care her during bathe 6 day She was hospitalized from the first minute we arrive they treat my wife with a great professionalism help us thru my wife crisis, every floor we being was amazing first 5 ECU floor waoo all the nurse, Tech, lead, Dr give all to help her, after that we go to 9 neurological floor continue with the great performance they found the way to help Jennifer with the correct treatment also show me so much encouragement thank from the bottom of my heart! Finally floor 7 the place you want to be because you nearly to go home I can’t mention all for the name but they know who they are from me Cecilio and my wife Jenny want to says thank you, thank you! You’re a group of amazing health professionals! Advent health Daytona Beach where you’re in the best hand!

The nurses in the cardiac rehabilitation center in Orange city, are awesome & understandable. They treat you with love & respect. I just started my rehabilitation & I’m always looking forward to the next one! Going through this painful recovery hasn’t been easy, but I know with time I’ll get stronger & better. If you want to receive good care & good therapy, AdventHealth cardiac rehabilitation in orange city, is the place you want to go after your heart surgery

What an awesome group of People in one building i could never
be taking better care of

It’s taking me 10 months to write this review. I have never been more mad in my life. The experience my family experienced in the ER is ridiculous. 10 months ago my son was hardly a week old. We use an owlet system to monitor our son while he sleeps. His owlet kept going into the high 80’s for oxygen saturation. His lips started to discolor and my husband and I rushed him to the hospital. He was wide awake when they took his oxygen, I explained that his oxygen only goes down when I breastfeed him and when he’s sleeping. I was met with the condescending “it’s ok mom his oxygen is great” “Don’t worry mom I know having a new born is scary” then put into an absolutely FILTHY room. My son who I brought into the hospital for low oxygen was kept in a room for 3 hours waiting for a doctor NOT being monitored. 2 hours in I got annoyed and told the charge nurse I want to change hospitals. She had the AUDACITY to tell me my son is the hospitals patient and I can not discharge him. My son who’s in a filthy room not being monitored at all. My new born who was coughing from the amount of dust in the room. Complete with trash on the ground. At the 3 hour mark my son went to sleep and turned completely purple. I went to the nurse station and started screaming. I was told to calm down Or security would be called. Calm down, while my son is purple and no one is helping me and I’m being threatened when I say I want to discharge him. I told the nurses I want a patient advocate. Only then did the doctor come in and my son was hooked up to be monitored. My sons oxygen when 83% when he was hooked up. My son was then rushed to the Orlando children’s hospital at 2am as this hospital isn’t geared to handle a infant. Turns out my son had severe sleep and eating apnea. He was admitted to the Orlando children’s hospital. I can’t even begin to describe the absolute disgust I have for this ER. You don’t even deserve 1 star.

I’m very impressed with the staff and quality of care at Fish Memorial. They have turned me around and I’m definitely an advocate! Thank you to all the staff who really made me feel at ease and valued.

I do not recommend Advent Fish. Their house doctors do no not listen at all to what you are requesting. They flat out deny you medication (and no it wasn’t pain medication. It was a heart medication.).

The instant we stepped in the ER, we were looked after by a competent team of Dr Caraker. Within a half an hour, catscan, ultrasound were done, diagnosis formed, consults called and we were taken up to Rm 1115.
Diagnosis being an abscess, iv analgesic, iv antibiotics administered in ED. Like they always advertised on TV - i went to ER broken, weak abd in severe pain and it didnt take an hour, I felt ‘’Whole’ again. Thank you. Adventhealth is First class amazing!
