Amazing caring and professional staff. Everyone from food servers to doctors and everyone in between could not have been more accommodating and compassionate.
I requested a recliner instead of the bed because of my back and Marilyn made sure I had it as soon as humanly possible. Everyone always had time for any questions and provided satisfactory answers. I really appreciated Alex coming in and talking with me about what and why I arrived at the hospital in the condition I was.
In fact I was talking to one of my friends and she said it sounded like I was having such a good time she was afraid I wouldn't want to go home. I was happy to go home when it was time and I felt like I was saying goodbye to a group of friends. Thank all my caregivers for me and tell them I appreciated every one of them. Even the phlebotomist made the procedure as comfortable as possible.

Went for a chest x-ray because of surgery requirement for celebration hospital. Mr Aaron Hebert, patient access supervisor denied treatment unless I paid upfront at leadt $100 even after explaining that I have outstanding insurance claims being processed and the amount he wanted upfront was not accurate. Had to call him down to meet him in person before getting treated. This is why I don’t go to Heart of Florida and always take the trip to Celebration Hospital. Mr Hebert stated Celebration Hospital will start collecting upfront charges as well starting next year. I highly doubt that as Insurance claims need to be processed for an accurate out of pocket for each visit. People meet Mr. Aaron Hebert.

Cath lab staff were attending to me very quickly and professionally. A bleeding issue brought many more people to assist. Fantastic group of people! On the medical floor they kept close watch on me the whole time I was there. Staff asked if I needed anything because I had to stay flat on my back most of the time I was there. They tried to make me comfortable. I asked questions and staff answered them. It was a pleasant experience with medical staff.

I just had my first baby here over a week ago. I had the best birth experience possible thanks to all of the nurses and staff at Advent Hospital! I felt cared for the whole time and like everyone there had mine and my babies best interest in mind. I can’t compliment them enough!

Yesterday had hip replacement surgery and WOW STAFF WAS amazing. I was treated has a VIP

If he finds anything less than a star, this hospital deserves it. Firstly, is it possible for the hospital to call you hours before performing the operation or anything else and tell you that you must pay a sum of money before entering to have anything done and that you have health insurance? When you ask they tell you this amount is in addition to the health insurance and you must pay it before and if you do not have this. The amount of the operation is considered cancelled. If you think about paying in installments, they refuse, and even if you pay by force and the operation ends after you leave, they will send you an invoice for another amount. This hospital is for the patient team only. As for the service, it is the worst service you can receive in the cheapest hospital in all of America. I ask patients to check the status of your admission to the worst hospital.

Had endoscopy and very excellent care. Very professional. Anesthesiologist was great and so was my nurse.

I’m given the er 2 stars but the 4th floor nurses 5 stars. We had to take my wife here Friday after her doctor called and said she was having a very bad problem with her kidneys and she needed to go to the er immediately. We get checked in and they immediately take her back and right away a nurse practitioner came and started working on her and she was amazing but what leads to a 2 star is that after that a regular nurse came and made a comment about why my wife is here and when asked why she said that she said well im from New York and we do things differently up there. Your primary should be taking care of this instead of dumping you on us. We had a bunch of patients lately getting sent over here because their primary’s don’t want to do any work. Well my wife’s kidney function was so low they ended up admitting her. I’d like to advent a question isn’t the job of the er to treat people in emergency conditions. If you don’t want to treat patients whose situation are worse than a regular doctor office can handle why be a hospital. It was very unprofessional and made us very uneasy on how we would be treated for the rest of the time

Very poor emergency care
I took my mother because I need a blood transfusion because she has cancer. We waited 4 hours. She fainted in the waiting room and when I asked for help they threatened to take me out safely if I didn't return to the waiting room.

This place is an embarrassment! They are definitely the unwanted stepchild of the Advent system. Parking is ridiculous. You practically have to park in Haines City and hike in. No sidewalks so avoid being hit by a car. I hope they get sued into oblivion when someone does get hit by a car. The guard at the entrance is extremely rude, but I will say that the staff inside was a little more pleasant. Be prepared for long waits, just to get checked in, even for outpatient procedures. Again, avoid at all costs. Go to Lake Wales or, of course, Celebration, even if the drive is longer. The management of this place should be ashamed of how bad it is.

Terrible experience with the ER staff! Went with my daughter for flu like symptoms possible COVID. They made her feel like she was wasting their time. They spoke to her like she was not important and asked her at least 3 times in a rude disrespectful tone why she was there! I would never recommend this hospital or ER to any of my friends or family!

I have never spent so much time on the phone trying to fix my billing. I am not exaggerating when I say it has been well over 20 hours. This is the worst. I am so frustrated and tired. I have been fighting through this for well over a year and it is still not fixed. Each time I call, they can't find my account, I have updated my address and each time I call they still have my old address. Only certain people can view my account so I get transferred multiple times before someone can even help. I have been hung up on several times. I have been told several times I would get a call back and never did, not once. I was told if I paid my bill in full, I will get a 20% discount. I made a payment in full because I am tired of dealing with Advent, and they confirmed all was good; however, I keep getting a bill for the final 20% because "their systems aren't talking to each other". They continue to advise not to worry and they will have someone fix it. My bill has now been sent to collections. So now I have to keep calling to have them take it back from collections until they can get it fixed. YET, i have to keep calling to make sure they do, as i dont trust anything is being done and they are still asking I pay the remaining balance. At this point, I should bill them and they owe me a lot more than what I had to pay. I would rather have 10 more surgeries with no pain medication than ever go through the hassle of this billing process.

I was not informed of the time for my EGD and had to call in the morning the day of. It's something I needed to fast for so I haven't eaten since 8pm yesterday.it is now almost 2 and I have not been taken back. I feel almost like I'm going to pass out and all they can say is. I'm sorry.

ER visit with my GF who has kidney issues and was in tremendous pain and discomfort. Triage was acceptable but upon seeing the doctor he immediately assumed she was there seeking drugs. She never asked for any medication but his bedside manner was to assume and treat her as a criminal. I was allowed to wheelchair her back for every part of the process except to see the doctor and get his opinion. This opioid crisis was started by doctors and in the future there will be no sympathy for legitimate pain. SHE HAS PAIN MEDICINE AND NEVER HINTED AT WANTING ANY FROM THIS VISIT. She could barely walk for 3 days, couldn't urinate and was scared. We are visitors from out of state and will never go back to any Advent location, if we ever come back to this area at all. The only reason for the two stars is because the triage process was pretty good and quick.
